CSUEB fall 2016

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hello all,

I am surprised that there is not a single thread for east bay for fall 2016.

Anyway, I am just curious the statistics for admission and know some potential classmates form this site.

GPA:3.75

TEAS:90

have healthcare experience.

Thanks in advance for your inputs.

I have very similar stats as yours, with the exception of healthcare experience. I do, however, have foreign language points. Seems like we should be finding out CSUEB's decision very soon, I'm very excited!! I'm hoping to be placed at the Concord campus. You? :)

I applied too! I feel like I probably won't get in but I decided to try anyways! I am scared though because of the cost of living up in the bay area. It is so expensive! I have a 3.76 prereq gpa and a teas score of 92.1%. No native student, healthcare, or foreign language points though :/ I've read that they seem to go through their waitlists a lot so maybe there is still hope for me! I think they are definitely really close to making their decision. I just got an email today saying that they are in their final step which is evaluating specific factors for each student if they answered yes to any of a particular set of questions on the app. It mentioned multiple times how time sensitive it was so I think that is a good sign that the decision will be made soon :)

hmmm... I actually didn't get that email. That was today?

I have similar stats to all of you but no healthcare experience or foreign language. The only emails I received are regarding accepting the conditional acceptance for the university. I checked with a friend of mine and she didn't receive an email either.

To Ninifani707,

Nice.:cat:

I am looking at the Hayward campus, which I am originally from. My family lives in San Jose. That's why I chose Hayward campus instead of Concord.

I do have points for speaking Chinese (sorry, I forgot to mention)

Hope you get in. Fight! !!!

The living of cost is not too bad compare to Los angeles, which is where I am living right now. The tuition for this school is relatively cheaper than others. Is this school your top choice?

Don't worry! It wasn't an email for everyone. It was only sent out if they needed further information based on certain responses. It said the emails to everyone would be out in the next few weeks though!

Yeah it's not too different than the la area I'm sure! But it seems so expensive when you aren't really able to work much while living there :/ it's not my top choice, I really was hoping for csuci but they said no already :( so now my top is probably fresno state since I have somewhere to stay there. East Bay is my number 2. But I really am worried about rent! What about you? Is it your top choice?

Don't worry, I am sure you will know which one you want to go later

East bay was actually my back up plan before, but the tuition is cheap and location is closed to my family. That's why I decided to go there instead of going to APU (Azusa Pacific university).

Check your emails! I got waitlisted but honestly I am still soo happy even just to get that! :) a step in the right direction no matter what! No word yet on where on the waitlist I am but it said another email will follow! I hear they go through the waitlist like crazy usually anyways. Good luck everyone!!! :D

Just checked my email and was also waitlisted! I'm surprised we heard this early! I agree @rayrayb I am just thrilled to at least have made the waitlist.
