  1. Hi Jade_01 The campus is actually on a quarter system (Sept-Dec) and transitioning to a semester system in Fall of 2018. My schedule was as follows (most students had something very similar). Monday a 3 hour skills class Tuesday a 2 hour seminar, a 2 hour pathophysiology class, a 2 hour theory class Wednesday I had no class Thursday 2 hour patho class and a 2 hour theory class Friday (4 of these) I had a lab There is some down time where you are not in class but they do fill it with quite a bit of assignments, etc. It's hard work but doable. Hope that helps.
  2. For me it was an email.
  3. @ Ladybug- I know how much you were hoping to get in the program. Hopefully, there will be more movement in the near future. If it helps, I have heard great things about LMC but I know it is not ideal to have to bridge after the program is done. Also, many of the nurses I know from volunteering at Kaiser actually have a 2 year ADN and are bridging while working. It is not impossible to get a job with just the 2 year degree.
  4. That is weird. I have something similar that was uploaded last night (7/29) with a due date of 7/15. My notice also says not to answer the questions until I receive my Winter Term Clinical assignment and only asks for TB tests. It doesn't mention anything about Hepatitis C. I wasn't aware there was a Hep C vaccine how could we show positive titers? I never even received an email. Castle branch is very frustrating. They still haven't cleared my mumps documents I submitted 3 weeks ago.
  5. I believe it is 60 per campus. When I called early in the summer (June) to check in the first person I spoke with said there weren't as many people who turned down positions as in the past. There still could be some movement.
  6. You have to make sure you are checking your Horizon email account. I don't think they are sending emails to our personal accounts anymore.
  7. I figured it out. The company sent me a new link and it worked fine :)
  8. I am trying to sign up for August 30th. When I click through the link on the orientation packet it only lists July 21st for a different campus.
  9. Anyone else having problems signing up for the BLS/First Aid course?
  10. @MyAimisTrue. Yes, I am finding Castle Branch to be difficult. They rejected my TB tests even know I have had a negative test every year for the past 3 years. I am now getting another but the information is on two sheets and you can only download one. I guess I will have to contact them next week. I have an extension since I just get into the program but feel your frustration with the process :)
  11. The price of the book bundle is $1200-1400 dollars which includes all of the books you will need for the program.
  12. Anyone done any research on the book bundle yet? Is it really cheaper to buy it all together? Thanks!
  13. I just paid $137 for the drug/background check. When I tried to email I never even got a response back. But when I called last Friday, the woman was very helpful. She actually looked up my name and told me I was close. I got the email that a spot was open the next Thursday. I would call and explain your situation. LMC starts mid August right? They have to be close to you.
  14. @Mauijen, I have until August 1.
  15. I agree. I have already taken Pathophysiology but I think I will repeat it. It was the hardest class I have ever taken. I am not looking forward to taking that again.
