Published

Hello all,

I am surprised that there is not a single thread for east bay for fall 2016.

Anyway, I am just curious the statistics for admission and know some potential classmates form this site.

GPA:3.75

TEAS:90

have healthcare experience.

Thanks in advance for your inputs.

Anyone know if the Summer classes for Concord are in 2017 or 2018???

Okay I've been obsessing nonstop so I decided I had to email and ask for an update as well! They said they still have about 10 spots and are slowly but surely working on filling them. More notifications will be going out this week. They also said it's looking like the Hayward Campus will fill up soon leaving Concord as the only choice.

Thanks Rayray for the update. I was hoping they had more spots available then that. Well hopefully we all hear something soon.

Keep us posted rayrayb. Like Ladybug84, I'm in the middle 3rd of the waiting list, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed! I've been accepted to Ohlone's Spring 2017 class (waitlisted for Fall 2016) and Merritt College (although I've been reading lots of negative reviews about that program). Hoping for CSUEB above all, but if that doesn't work out, I feel fortunate that I have some back up options. Good luck to all those waitlisted!

Of course I will keep you all updated! I'm sure someone has to be dying to know as much as I am! Still nothing for me :( I'm seriously losing my mind here! I'm thinking I'm probably at the very end of the 1st 3rd. Maybe I'm just losing hope but I'm feeling like I'm probably not going to be within those last 10 spots they are working on filling. I'm betting I'll probably be waiting awhile for people to change their mind. I'm sure based on past statistics that we'll all get in eventually! But I just don't know if I'll be sane anymore by the time we finally hear haha! I wish there were more waitlisted people posting on this forum so that we could get some more insight.

Hello Rayrayb,A bit of advice for you, and please don't be offended by it.

Don't say last ten spots, otherwise, your are saying that there aren't spots left for those of us, not in the top third. Get rid of the negative vibes. When you think negatively such as you saying that you won't be in the "last 10 spots," guess what? You won't!

The later part of your post is better when you say "we'll all get in eventually," that is more like it! You are very active on this topic, that is a good thing but try to stay busy and stress-free, that takes a toll on your body. I can see where you are coming from but it is best to keep positive and keep the best possible outcome in your mind. That being that you will indeed be admitted. I know that you will be admitted, now all you have to do is believe that you will and trust me, it will happen.

Go out and smell the roses, star gaze, find things to do that make you feel at ease. Or better yet, imagine yourself graduating in 2.5 years because that is in your future!

Have a great day!

I am sorry if my post made you feel that way. I thought I was being clear that I meant I did not think I would be in the last 10 spots that they had RIGHT NOW. I felt I would be waiting awhile before I heard back. I am dying to know what my future holds and the wait is really tough. I am sure everyone on the waitlist feels the same. That was what I was expressing in my post. Honestly it is so nice to have the support of people who understand what we are going through. Not all days are full of positivity, unfortunately. I felt it was okay to express my feelings, good or bad, to a group that can relate. The thought of my future and finally getting to where I have been fighting to be is exciting and it keeps me going. I like to be involved in this group for myself and others that are also wanting to share info, feelings, and advice. Again, I am sorry that it came across in such a way to you. That was in no way my intention.

In other news... I GOT IN!!! :D For those that are waiting and curious, Concord was the only campus that had available spot(s). You can request to be on the Hayward campus waitlist as well. I am totally lost as to what campus I would prefer so not sure if I will do that or not... Anyways, good luck to everyone! I know you are not far behind! :)

Congratulations Rayray!

My best wishes for all of you guys. I hope you have the opportunity to be part of the program. ;) Don't loss your hope yet!

:)Congrats to you!!

Hello Ladies,

I have been accepted to Contra Costa College ADN program and Los Medanos College ADN. I'm still waiting to be called for CSUEB and praying for that spot. Has anyone heard which is better from LMC vs CCC, I want to free up a spot from either one of the two for people on the waitlist?

Thanks!
