CSUEB fall 2014 RN applicant

Anyone else apply to cal state east bay/ CSUEB for fall 2014 term? From reading other threads on here and from attending informational meetings, they inform applicants around may :nailbiting:..... seems SOOOO long from now:banghead:. Have you applied to any other schools? Anyways waiting patiently here for May to come around. Any other people out there in the same boat as me? Anyone? ....Anyone? :nurse::unsure:

Caligirl7 which school are you wait listed at? I am not on a wait list yet but they take 36 applicants at College of Marin plus ten more if their yearly grant renews...seems like it usually does. I'm #47 on the lottery list and I know of at least 1 person turning down their spot. So that makes me #46. Hopefully I will know in a few weeks as everyone has to take the TEAS this week. Thankfully I already took it!

I got in !!! Yes!!! :D I am sorry that some of you didn't get in, that totally sucks. On the upside I am glad that you are wait listed on your first choice of school. Best of luck.

Mswtruth, well I am in at a Mendocino college and wait listed at SSU and Chico. Chico is my first choice school. And past years they usually go pretty far into the waitlist I am 10 on Chico's and 8 at SSU. SSU doesn't usually go far on the waitlist. Last I checked they are at alternate 2. And Chico is planning on updating Monday. Oh wow that's awesome so you have a really good chance of getting in at com it sounds like. Good luck there! I really hope you get in at COM.

It says I'm in middle, somewhere between 25-50. I wish they could tell you exact number!! OMG CSUEB is my dream school, I don't know whether I should be happy or sad. Such a roller coaster. More waiting!

I got accepted! I am already registered for classes for my first choice nursing program, but I'm glad to know that CSUEB would have been a backup had I not been accepted to the other school. So those of you on the wait list - my spot will be opening up!!

I'm sorry for those of you who didn't get in, my heart goes out to you, and I cross my fingers that you get into another program. Good luck to everyone wait listed, and congratulations to everyone who got accepted!

I got rejected. :( I had 3.75 gpa, 88 on the TEAS, and healthcare exp. sigh. I guess it's SFSU for me then.

@Erika01 - what campus are you choosing?

On an upside to those of you waitlisted - I've heard great things about them blowing through the waitlist in previous years! Keep your heads up! :)

Heya!

I've been following this thread but haven't commented yet. I just got my offer of admission a few minutes ago! I'm psyched. I chose the Concord campus and hopefully that's where I'll be come Fall. :D
