CSUEB fall 2014 RN applicant

Anyone else apply to cal state east bay/ CSUEB for fall 2014 term? From reading other threads on here and from attending informational meetings, they inform applicants around may :nailbiting:..... seems SOOOO long from now:banghead:. Have you applied to any other schools? Anyways waiting patiently here for May to come around. Any other people out there in the same boat as me? Anyone? ....Anyone? :nurse::unsure:

I applied as well to CSUEB. My GPA and teas scores are good but I don't have the extra points for being fluent in a second language or having work experience in a health related field. Not sure what the point cut off is but nervous about whether I'm competitive enough without those extra points. I also applied to SRJC, COM, CCSF and Merritt College. I got into Dominican this spring and accepted but hoping I can get into a more affordable program. Good luck to us all!

I applied also. I'm a 2nd bachelors student but I got my first degree at CSUEB. I'm not sure of how good my chances are because I had to repeat Anatomy, since a lot of other CSUs would not accept CSUEB's quarter A&P1 units. My TEAS was pretty good at 88%. I also have supplemental points for healthcare work. If CSUEB doesn't work out I also applied to USF's EL-MSN program, SFSU, and CSM. I hope I get in somewhere! :/

Yay! I'm glad to hear from other people that have applied. Let's keep each other posted on any news! My GPA and TEAS are decent, but I do have work experience. But that only accounts for so many points :sorry:.

I applied to CSUEB, Chabot College and San Jose State. We are in the same boat….just waiting and hoping. :)

Hey everyone! I applied to csueb too. I am so nervous! My gpa and teas are decent but I dont have any bonus points. Let me know if you guys hear anything.

So does anyone on here know or can confirm that they start to inform students in May if they've been accepted ? Thanks!

Okay I read the website, it states last week of May...Good luck to all!

I applied to CSUEB, SRJC, COM, and SSU. Seems like too long of a wait to find out! I have a high GPA and TEAS scores, but I'm very nervous that won't matter because I don't get the 10 points for being a native CSUEB student!

Hi everyone! I also applied to CSU Easy Bay. I applied to SRJC, SSU, California State University, Chico, Sac state and Mendocino college. East bay is one I don't get a lot of the additional points. I get extra points for work experience and being bilingual at Sac and Chico that I don't get at East Bay. May seems so far away. Best of luck to all of you!!

Does anybody mind sharing their stats? :):)

For the TEAS I got 90%

Prerequisite GPA 3.82

My stats are not the highest but thought I should go for it anyways. Overall GPA prereqs 3.32 and TEAS 84%.

I'd rather not say what I got on the TEAS :sniff:lol .... I did pass though! My prereq GPA is 3.76
