U.S.A. California

Anyone else apply to cal state east bay/ CSUEB for fall 2014 term? From reading other threads on here and from attending informational meetings, they inform applicants around may :nailbiting:..... seems SOOOO long from now:banghead:. Have you applied to any other schools? Anyways waiting patiently here for May to come around. Any other people out there in the same boat as me? Anyone? ....Anyone? :nurse::unsure:

I don't you think you apply

To either campus, I think once you get accepted it's a first come first serve for what campus you would like. And if you are wait listed it's

Whatever one is available.

They accept 130

Students-

65 at each campus

I mean that I selected the Hayward campus (instead of Concord) on the application and that's the one I would pick if I get in! :)

Hey everyone! I was on this forum a while ago, and I just wanted to give you all an update. I got accepted to my #1 choice BSN program, which means I'll be declining my spot for CSUEB if I get accepted. So one more seat may possibly be open! I wish you all the best of luck and I look forward to seeing who gets accepted!! ?

Thank you for the update!! I want to get into CSUEB sooooo bad!! Congrats on getting into your number one choice program, that's amazing!

Cross your fingers for me! :)

No word yet! This is killing me!

The wait is killing me too!

Oh my goodness, I'm SO upset, I just realized I made a HUGE mistake that I feel like might jeopardize me getting in.. :(

I applied to 8 different BSN programs and two community colleges and between the applications, being full time student and working 30 plus hours a week, I was very overwhelmed with the whole application process and I misread the second language form for CSUEB and thought you had to be FLUENT in a second language to fill out form, when it really just says someone else fluent in that language has to fill out form!! So I didn't do it!! I have taken 4 semesters, 2 years of college Spanish and consider myself proficient but def not fluent. Ahhh!! I know it's way too late but I'm so disappointed in myself. :( I almost want to write the department but know it's too late and also don't want them to think I'm not thorough... :(

Any advise?

I didn't fill it out either because I think they mean you have to be pretty much fluent and they may test you on it.

Really? Because if you look at the form it doesn't say anything about actually being fluent( I got confused when I originally looked at it)

And then it has an area where the person filling it out can access your proficiency. Ah! It's just all so nerve racking especially since they don't look at my volunteer hours, which I have over 250 from children's hospital Oakland ( now UCSF Benioff children's hospital) or

My CNA license.

I guess

I'm just feeling discouraged but trying to stay positive at same time

anyone heard yet ???!!!:wideyed:

nope not yet! Does anyone know if they will be sent to our personal email or our horizon email?

It goes to the horizon email i think. I'm probably declining since i got into SJSU. Last year they heard at the END of may, so i doubt we will hear this week...
