CSUEB fall 2014 RN applicant

Anyone else apply to cal state east bay/ CSUEB for fall 2014 term? From reading other threads on here and from attending informational meetings, they inform applicants around may :nailbiting:..... seems SOOOO long from now:banghead:. Have you applied to any other schools? Anyways waiting patiently here for May to come around. Any other people out there in the same boat as me? Anyone? ....Anyone? :nurse::unsure:

Weird! I literally got off the phone with them and she said by the end of this week for sure and that they are working on them as we speak!

Really?! well that is weird, maybe we spoke to different people? Or who knows what's going on. Anyway, it seems that we'll find out soon, if not by the end of this week than we'll surely find out early next week. Good luck to all!!!

Hmm well I guess either way it seems like we will know sooner than the last week of May! :)

Do any of you have any advise for me regarding my situation with the language proficiency form I explained a few posts before this? I'm so bummed and would love to hear anyone's else's opinion. Thank you and I hope we all get in together!!

Got my denial letter too but I'm confused as it says I didn't meet the minimum 3.0 GPA for all 8 prereq courses. I have 1 B, 2 A's and the rest B+'s. I do have 1 C in my English comp class from 1995. Do you think they required at least a B in each prereq course? I thought you were supposed to have at least a 3.0 GPA from all 8 prereqs combined? I emailed to ask them. Meganalexis08 did they give you a reason for your denial? Sorry you didn't get in. Hopefully one of your other choices comes through. I'm about 98% sure I'll be getting into College of Marin's RN program which is my top choice. I live in Marin and plan on doing the RN-BSN bridge at SSU if I'm in. Good luck everyone!

Yayy! Glad to hear you are wait listed at your first choice school as well. Life on the waitlist is not fun but hopefully it will be worth it. I am hoping to hear Monday if I got in or where they stand with the waitlist as Friday is the deadline to accept/deny spots. Fingers crossed for both of us to get in to our first choice schools.

Caligirl7 which school are you wait listed at? I am not on a wait list yet but they take 36 applicants at College of Marin plus ten more if their yearly grant renews...seems like it usually does. I'm #47 on the lottery list and I know of at least 1 person turning down their spot. So that makes me #46. Hopefully I will know in a few weeks as everyone has to take the TEAS this week. Thankfully I already took it!
