Anyone else apply to cal state east bay/ CSUEB for fall 2014 term? From reading other threads on here and from attending informational meetings, they inform applicants around may :nailbiting:..... seems SOOOO long from now:banghead:. Have you applied to any other schools? Anyways waiting patiently here for May to come around. Any other people out there in the same boat as me? Anyone? ....Anyone? :nurse::unsure:

I got in!!! Ahh!! Just got my acceptance letter- I was in middle section of waitlist! I can't believe I heard back so soon!!

Now to pick which campus to request- concord or Hayward!? They are about equal distances from my house! Tough choice! Any advise would be amazing!

I'm so excited I'll be joining all of you who are already accepted!! And to those of you on wait list- don't give up hope, I bet you will get in too!

CONGRATULATIONS! :)

Congrats to all who made it into CSUEB. I graduated 12/2011, and it is a great program. I have worked as PHN and now on a med/surg-tele floor, compared to other new nurses I meet CSUEB does prepare you!! When you get to clinicals challenge yourself and it will help you, I had the hardest instructor my last clinical and it really made a difference. It is true that one of the best skills you can learn is time management. Good luck to all of you.

Would you guys mind telling me what were your TEAS results, GPA, Science GPA? I have applied for Fall 2015 and Im super scared:(

Hi! I remember how terrifying the waiting period was, but remember you still have months and months and before finding out so even though I know it's hard, try to just relax, I know harder said than done but it really is pointless to worry your self sick, as you won't find out until May or even later, I wish I would of done the same

Teas- 87

Science GPA 3.9

Overall pre req GPA- I think 3.85

Overall GPA 3.7

Medical work experience- no

Second language- no ( did have 4 semesters Spanish but didn't count this because but fluent, or at least I didn't try because said had to he fluent)

Good luck!

TEAS 89.3

Science GPA : 4.0

Overall GPA : 3.9

Medical experience: No

Second language : Yes.

Is it hard?

Can you elaborate on that? Are you referring to the program in general?

**** CSUEB I had a 4.0 in pre read and 98 % on TEAS. I was dismissed my second year because a clinical instructor took a dislike to me. --------------------- tried her best to ruin me. She has dismissed others for psychiatric reasons. School does not support students
