Anyone on the edge of your seat waiting for these letters to come ??? This was the only university I applied to so I'm startling to get anxious !!! ?
Do you guys know whether or not we need to select our classes now, or if we'll be able to do it later? I've already had my open appointment for choosing summer and fall classes, and I'm not quite sure how we're supposed to go about it.Do we just wait until fall to pick classes? Wait for the informational session? Or should I go ahead and start choosing classes from the first section of the nursing roadmap?
Wait til orientation. You get to pick your sections then, with everyone all at once. There's no worries about the classes filling up as all of the spots are reserved for you. It would be beneficial for you to sign up for an upper division general education class though (if you still need them) - like a B6 or HDEV 3800. The first quarter is by far the easiest quarter so it's a good time to take an extra GE class, and if you wait then they will probably fill up.
I remember going to an advising secession in Concord when I was interested in applying and I remember the spoke person said that we can take our upper divisions along with our nursing courses. I was sure if the Concord campus offers any of those upper division courses. I think we might have to take those at Hayward. Any thoughts?
Hi all, I'll be applying this fall. I don't speak another language and I don't have any paid work experience...oh AND I repeated a class...do I even stand a chance??
I think as long as you have a really good and competitive GPA and high TEAS score, you should be fine. Just apply, you never know.
Btw, for anyone on the waitlist, you are one spot closer to getting in. I'm turning down CSU EB, as I got in to SFSU as well. I would've loved to attend CSU EB with all of you, but I hate commuting. SFSU is just 10-15 minutes away from home. Good luck to all of you!

They offer some at Concord and many are available online.

I knew someone would profit from a residency program that charges the nurse instead of orientation supplied by the hospital.....wow.
Congrats to all who have been accepted!
Does anyone know if we only go to 1 orientation date which is the nursing orientation or do we also need to sign up for student orientation like everyone who attends CSUEB?
For us the nursing orientation was mandatory and there will be a mandatory CPR class. I don't recall the CSUEB orientation being mandatory or even necessary.
I see. Well, if you choose East Bay, we're gonna be classmates...Good luck to you on whichever programs you pick.
Looks like we're going to be classmates! I chose CSUEB. I'm so relieved to finally know where I'm going.
Congrats everyone! And to those who didn't get in or are waiting to hear, I've got my fingers crossed for ya!

Yay! I've turned in my decline form to sfsu today too. Which campus did you choose? Hayward or Concord?
