Anyone on the edge of your seat waiting for these letters to come ??? This was the only university I applied to so I'm startling to get anxious !!! ?
On behalf of the Department of Nursing and Health Sciences, we would like to inform you that you earned enough points to be placed on a conditional waitlist to the Fall 2013 Clinical Pre-Licensure Nursing Program at CSU East Bay. This offer is being made based on your TEAS score and an evaluation of your success with completed prerequisites. The next step of the process is a final review to confirm that reported GPA and listed prerequisites meet program requirements and match submitted academic records. The Nursing Department maintains that it is the student’s responsibility to make sure all courses listed on the Nursing Supplemental Application meet CSUEB Nursing requirements and correct grades and units are entered for each course. If, during our review, a discrepancy is found on your application or a requirement isn’t met, your waitlist status will change. There are two possible options after the final review: 1. You will remain on the waitlist, with a chance for admission if a spot opens up. 2. You will be removed from the waitlist and denied. If you remain on the waitlist, we will keep you on the waitlist until September 24, 2013. Our department will email you no later than September 24, 2013 if a space becomes available in our Pre-Licensure Nursing Program, and you are the next person on our waitlist. If you do not receive conditional admission into our Fall 2013 Nursing Program, and you want to reapply to our Fall 2014 program, online applications will be available October 1, 2013. Please visit the Pre-Licensure Program Admission link on our website: http://www20.csueastbay.edu/csci/departments/nursing/ Other nursing programs may still be an option. The Board of Registered Nursing website, http://www.rn.ca.gov/, lists accredited nursing programs, and some (including nearby out of state programs) have multiple application cycles per year. In addition, please consider Health Sciences at CSUEB (Hayward and Concord) as an alternate baccalaureate degree since all of the nursing prerequisite courses satisfy lower division requirements for this major. The Health Sciences major offers four specialized areas of study, which may match your career goals: Administration and Management, Pre-Clinical Preparation, Community Health, and Environmental Health & Safety.
Uggggh
Congrats to everyone that was accepted - I got in too!!! Does anyone know if there is already/going to be a facebook page?To those that didn't get in, good luck on all your future endeavors whether it be reapplying to nursing school or pursing other fields of study!
Someone from the EBSNA board will start one for you all. Last year we ended up starting one for ourselves and no one even uses it anymore.

Yes I got it immediately after I sent in my acceptance and request for campus
I think it's a generated email. I imagine they are getting tons of emails with similar questions so I think it just sends you that reply to let you know that they received the email. In the acceptance email it said they were going to send out another email after June 21 about the vaccinations , background check etc. so I'm hoping by then we should know which campus we are attending .
Do you guys know whether or not we need to select our classes now, or if we'll be able to do it later? I've already had my open appointment for choosing summer and fall classes, and I'm not quite sure how we're supposed to go about it.
Do we just wait until fall to pick classes? Wait for the informational session? Or should I go ahead and start choosing classes from the first section of the nursing roadmap?
