CSUEB fall 2013 acceptance

Anyone on the edge of your seat waiting for these letters to come ??? This was the only university I applied to so I'm startling to get anxious !!! ?

Hey everyone! I was on the top 1/3 of the wait list and received an email that spot opened up. I sent my response back right away Friday the 14th, stating that I would love to take the spot. I have not received a follow up email yet or any type of communication from the school. Anyone else on the wait list have a similar situation?[/quote']

My best advice is to send them another email requesting confirmation of the former. If they missed the email you wan to definitely make them aware of it. Let me know if I can help with something else. Best of luck!

I probably look like a crazy stalker at this point, haha! I sent them another email yesterday and heard nothing, so I called them today. They did get my email and I am set to go! Phew! Thanks for your advise :)

Not a problem. Congratulations! Which campus will you be going to?

I chose the Concord campus. When they sent the inital email letting me know a spot was open they said that both campuses were still available, so I am pretty sure that is where I will be going. I am super exctied! Which campus are you going to?

I don't have any info for you, but I just wanted to say congrats on getting in!

Thank you so much!

Hey Everyone,

I'm the jealous predator that has been stalking this site, anxiously hoping to hear something about the CSUEB wait list. I received e-mail that I was on the 2/3 of the wait list and that in "recent years" they've gone anywhere from #'s 25-70. I wish they gave you a specific number because it would just help calm me down, the slightest bit even! I'm just curious to know if anyone knows maybe what part of the list they may get to, or possibly last year what number they go to? I'm just wondering if I even have a shot. CSUEB is my dream Nursing School, but I am in at USF or SFSU just in case.

Ahhh!!! I'm going crazy over here, constantly refreshing my e-mail hoping for some speck of hope!

Congratulations to you all!

Thank you! I am excited to get started! What does the nursing school schedule look like? I want to try and maintain a part time job while I'm in school and I am wondering how much time I can spare.

Me too ! I'm still trying to work as well but I also have a 3 year old munchkin and a hubby . I've always worked full time throughout community college getting my Pre-Reqs done so don't know how it compares to nursing school though.

Many people have held part time jobs. So it's definitely a possibility, however, free time will be sporifice. The first quarter your schedule is typically Mon-Fri or Mon-Thursday with one or two classes a day.

I also worked full time through my pre-reqs, so I'm wondering how the switch will compare. I hope not too crazy because it would be nice to have a little bit of cash flow.

Oh cool! Thank you so much for answering my questions! You have been very helpful!
