@janiney77 Was the second evaluation different than the first? I haven't gotten mine yet...maybe it's because I finished all my pre-core on the first eval so it wouldn't make sense to send the same thing.? ughhh idk lol.
@nursejasr I think we are notified by mail and email. My score is 33...i think.

@fattyacids I am in the same situation as you. When I submitted my app in October, I had completed all required pre-core with the exception of the in residence UD units. We will not receive a second eval. I contacted my advisor back in November and he said I just needed to wait til early February to hear about a decision. Almost that time!! :woot: Good luck everyone!!

@fattyacids The evaluation looked exactly the same as the first, only had the additional grade that was IP.

Did anyones evaluation mention anything about their last 60 unit GPA?

Mine didn't mention anything about that, or if they had received my TEAS score. But when I called and asked about my application status, they said it is "complete".

I think I am at 36 points. Not sure if I am calculating right.

3.75 Pre-nursing, 3.63 last 60 units, 83.3 TEAS

Is anyone else applying from Southern San Diego? I am from Bonita, and I am not looking forward to commute. I wonder if I should wait until next Spring.

@NJann Im not sure if there is a deadline. Since it's rolling admissions, I believe they just fill up the spots available. Then if your application didn't make it, then it will roll over to the next. But no specific deadline.

@lgripe , hi ! thank you for the encouragement ! I know it sucks that they don't consider volunteering hours but I guess their point system has to be straightforward . I received an email to sign into my account to view my application status and it still has my transcripts under the " to do" list. I sent them a week ago through priority mail ( all in the same envolope) so I hope it doesn't take too long for them to update the status .

So maybe this is because my initial application was awhile ago but...what is this account people are signing into to view application status? I've never gotten anything about that and didn't even know you could check your application status online. Am I missing something?

Good luck to everyone by the way, not too much longer until we know! And whenever someone gets in, if they could post I'm sure it'd be much appreciated!!

Hey JNugget!

I'm not sure if its because of some of us used the new application, but CSUSM sent me an ID and a password to log in the CSUSM portal. It looks like it that is for admission to the University. Extended learning sends a photocopy of the transcripts we sent in to them, for them to accept us to the University. In November they upped the fee from $55 to $105, to include the University application fee, too. For the old application, they didn't have people apply to the University until they were admitted into the program.

The new application also gave a username and password for the Extended Learning admission site. All it says is either "Application submitted", "Application posted" (meaning under review) and then mine changed to "Application closed" which is why I freaked out before, haha. But I really don't think it's relevant to admission status.

Hope that wasn't too confusing! :)

Similar thing has happened to me...I sent all my transcripts in the same envelope on 1/13/14 yet they are still in my "to do" list. That was a Monday and I called Friday to see if they got them, whoever picked up the phone said it takes 7-10 days to get them from the mail room. But here we are, almost 3 wks later, still says they don't have them Well I sent them an email to see what's up. Hopefully I'll hear back monday or Tuesday and let you know what they say.
