I think it includes the $55 CSU Mentor fee as well! I filled out the new application and it was a lot more involved than the old application. So it seems they just merged the two!

@Lgripe Did you fill out both the old and the new? I heard that if you fill out the old one, then you don't have to fill out then new one.

Just the new one :) I was waiting for a transcript to come in, and went to apply, and that was the day they took it down to update...so I had to wait two weeks to fill out the new one! Bad timing on my part haha

The anticipation is killing me! I sent in my final transcript the 2nd week of Dec., but I haven't received a final evaluation yet. Is Feb really when they're going to start admitting?

Hi everyone,

I decided to not pursue nursing in my spring semester and now have decided after all the indecisiveness that I still want to go into nursing. I don't know what was wrong with me! Maybe not in the right frame of mind just yet? Who knows?

I just contacted the school and they told me that all of my transcripts and evaluation are still in the system and I'm eligible for re-entry. I want to go again but if I don't get into the summer, I am okay with the fall as well.

Has anyone here pushed back or have known anyone to do so? Thanks!

do we need to send the final transcripts with a confered degree on it to be considered for admission? i sent it my first set of transcripts in november and at that time i had all my pre reqs done and my teas. anyways i talked to my advisor and she told me they start admitting students for the absn program late january and will continue on till the cohort is full...so good luck to every one

Hey everyone! I'm gathering all my transcripts to send to CSU San Marcos for Summer and Fall. From previous posts, sounds like the turnaround for transcript evals is 2-4 weeks. I'm about to submit my application online and noticed that they only give me the option to select Fall 2014. Has anyone else experienced this? Please let me know if there are any recent updates on the Summer cohort. Fingers crossed!

Hi AZUNursing!

Last thing I heard from counselors is that they are starting to admit into the Summer 2014 cohort in early February! And because of rolling admissions, I think that if you application is in anytime in the next couple weeks (even if it says Fall 2014), you will definitely be considered for the summer cohort!

So I guess I was wrong! I just talked to CSUSM today because my application changed from "posted" to "closed" and they said that the Summer 2014 cohort has already been selected. At least our applications roll over to Fall!

Has anyone heard anything??

@lgripe where did you see your application status? You're making me panic! I just tried calling my advisor and, of course, no answer. I'll update as soon as I hear back. Who did you talk to?!

I just called and spoke to someone at the school. She told me that the summer cohort is still open and that they haven't even started sending the acceptance letters yet. They start sending them out in February.
