Hey Everyone!!

The wait is driving me a little crazy, so I'd thought I'd start a thread for anyone else who is applying! I won't be finishing my last pre-reqs until end of December, so I'm probably way too late for the Spring cohort. Is anyone else in the same situation? Let me know! I'd love to talk to anyone applying/interested/already in the program :)

Oh no way! I live like 40 mins away from Modesto, near Tracy :)

I went to UCI and got my degree in Bio! I was pre-med for the first three years, but then after an internship, decided nursing is really where I want to be! What about you?

@lgripe...yep, I took the TEAS test about a month ago. I'm so glad it's over. How did yours go this past weekend?

Hey @emu3121! I'm so glad it's over too!! It ended up going well! I got a 97.3, so if I get A's in my last two nursing core classes, I should have about 39 points

How are your other applications going? I know they are a lot more involved than just sending in transcripts and scores, haha

Great score @Lgripe! That's pretty high. Does anyone know the average score of the previous cohorts other than what's on the website? I think I have a score of 33. I don't think that's competitive enough. A lot of people are getting really high scores like 37!! Has anyone heard anything else from the program? I got my evaluation letter a few weeks ago (Oct 11th to be exact). Do we sit and wait for January now?

Hi @Kristyyy! I think 33 is a great score! I toured the Temecula campus last weekend, and the advisor I spoke with said that the average for the applications she was getting was pretty consistent with previous cohorts.

I know they are updating their online application system, so I'm not sure if that will slow down the next wave of acceptances or not, but hopefully we hear something soon!

Did the application fee just increase from $50 to $150? That's crazy.

yeah they definitely just increased it...i only payed $50 when I applied in september

Yeah I just applied beginning of October and same $50 fee.

Anyone heard when they are going to send out acceptance emails/letter? I am a freak checking my email and this blog every day. hahahaha such a spaz, but the wait is driving me crazy! :nailbiting: Please tell me I am not the only one. hahaha!

You are not the only one! Trust me :) I spoke with my advisor last week and he told me they would be doing their first round of admission for summer 2014 the first few weeks in February. Who knows if that's really the case but that's what I got told. Hope that helps!
