Congratulations! What time did you get your email? I got mine at 5:30 PM and I got in too!!! I am so excited and I don't see myself declining. Didn't you get into Delta as well?

Diva, I'm not sure if the comment was to me or one of the other two... but i received my email at 5:20! & the only other place i applied to was SFstate. which i was placed on the alternate list, probably because I didn't have any of the extra point for living around there and doing my pre-reqs there :)

So that means we will be class mates come this Fall! I'm so excited to start

Yes, yes! The comment was directed towards you lol. I just looked at the email again and the exact time was 5:18, so we got it at the same time. I was so excited when I got the email, I literally screamed! I applied to Delta College, Stanislaus, and CSU Sacramento. CSU Sacramento is my top choice! I would love to speak to people who have been through the program, to get their take on it. I am extremely nervous and am hunting to find a pharmacology class over the summer. Do you think they will be picky about which school I take pharmacology at?

I too, want to talk to people who have gone through what we are about to start on! & I too have to take pharm, or want to take it this summer! As long as it is articulated they wont mind where you take the course from. Just check assist.org to make sure its on there & that it will transfer to csus!

I'm looking around for a good CPR certification place to get that out of the way. Know of any?

CONGRATS and welcome to the nursing program at Sac State. I will be starting my last semester in the fall and love the program. We will be planning a meet and greet in early August for your class to meet eachother as well as students who are surviving the program. You will receive an email from Teri with the specifics as soon as we finish with finals and are able to get together for planning. I know that Sac City will be offering pharmacology.. I am looking into other colleges as well. I would really like to get that out of the way, so I can free my schedule for the actual nursing classes. I am going to go on the website that they had in the email and see what places offer the certification. I think they are going to charge about $75 bucks for it, but at least it last two years.

Thank you! It's so nice to be able to speak someone who is actually in the program! I would love to know more about it. Every since I got the acceptance email, I have been trying to find out as much as I can online, but there isn't much information out there. What does a typical schedule look like for a nursing student at Sac? Which hospitals does the students from the program work with?
