Hi everyone!
I haven't seen any postings from CSUF EL-MSN Fall 2010 applicants! Are there any of you out there? I received my complete checklist about two weeks ago and was curious if anyone else has heard anything from the school?? Good luck to all of you!!!
Thanks for the optimism! I will definitely be checking my e-mail!
About financial aid, I didn't apply for it, but make sure you talk to several people. I have found that you will get different answers from different people, but I'm sure if you talk to them in person you might get a better answer. All of my questions were over the phone as well. Sorry, if I knew more about their financial aid I would definitely let you know. Good luck!
Yayy someone to talk to during this horrible waiting period!! Sorry for blowing up your e-mail with all my postings by the way! It's so hard to distract myself when my future plans are completely up in the air. Anyways, good luck to you as well, I hope we hear some good news soon! Please post if you do!
I wish we received numbers, but I guess in the end what good does that do us!
"I didn't know the deadline to accept/decline for LB is the 14th, did you? I bet they will start cycling through a few more alternates once that deadline is over don't you think"
No I didn't, but truth be told I put all my eggs in one basket, CSUF. I was going to apply for LB but overlooked the fact that you have to take the TEAS exam for the ELMSN. I regret not paying more attention, but really I only want to go to CSUF. Gosh you would think they would have sent out some more acceptances by now!!! Are u on the alternate list at CSULB too and if so wish do u plan to attend should both accept you? I think that once people decide on CSULB then Fullerton will get more openings. A lot of people seem to lean towards CSULB. Makes me wonder if I am making the right decision.
Coco, I am not sure myself, but will also try to get some info. I am on the alternate list for a RN program at GWC myself and who knows maybe i will get in there and not CSUF. If that is the case then I'll be taking the same track. All I remotely remember reading is that it will take longer b/c i take 2 years to get RN and then u still h ave to do 3 years for MSN...don't quote me on this....u can look at this forum and the one listed under LB and I know people have talked about it. LUCK!
WhyBrat,
If you were on the waitlist for the Spring, I declined my spot there so hopefully you'll get in! I heard that you have a pretty good chance of getting into the program if you're on the waitlist.
I'm still trying to figure out whether to go to CSUF or CSULB so hopefully I can figure this out soon since the deadline is coming up!!!!

I take it u r talking about GWC... I hope my chances are good...but that is what they say about the alternate waitlist at CSUF. Good chances have not come my way yet... =)
You know I would much prefer your spot at CSUF? IS that up for grabs???? LOL... I want CSUF b/c it is closer to me and I have a family to tow. CSULB sounds like a better more promising program in terms of certification and opportunity to move into a NP or other areas of expertise. It is confusing with CSUF because it seems they do not yet have answers since it is a relatively new program to them... but who knows in the long run maybe CSUF will get their act together faster...they do seem to have a superior teaching staff. Good luck in your decision making. Good luck to you in your career.... =)
hahahaha yeah, I meant GWC! Sorrry! I'm pretty sure I'm going to CSUF. I'm one of those rare people that think CSUF > CSULB. I think it may just be a personal preference, but I think CSUF is great based on my experience talking to the staff and during the interview! I got a better vibe from them.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you though!! Hopefully I'll see you there in the fall!

No need to be jealous because you'll get in. Emails for the admission are going out this week for those that declined the admission offer. Check your email this week.
I am kind of worried about financial aid. I need to talk to the financial aid office in person. Waited on the phone for 20 minutes and got nothing but useless information.
