Did anyone apply to CSU Bakersfield? I applied for the Spring 2010.

lol no problem!

they do have dorms on campus...I can find out how much the rent is. If not there are a lot of apts near campus as well as few miles...It all depends on what kind of apt you are looking for and within what distance? sharing or alone? All that..but you shouldn't have a problem finding a place to live!!

i am a little worried because if I have to come for just summer i don't know how the living arrangement works I looked at the cost for dorms it says like 2nd payment then like fall is $1980 is that for the entire semester or just a month month? Do you live on campus?

I am not to sure about all that..if your really curious I would call/email and find out. If your only worried about the summer which is ten weeks...rend a motel room..its pretty cheap..$475-500 staight! No bills nothing! I live off campus.

thanks a lot for all the help. You can't be serious? Summer is 10 weeks I thought it would be 5 weeks or less? Doesn't it start June 22nd? A motel room wow didn't think about that. The single room seems to be pretty expensive I'll have to find a room mate! Thanks again

craigslist.org that's how I got my room, though I'm still looking for other rooms out there and other roommates.

So, with my TEAS test taken last week and predicting A's for this semester (hopefully!!), I calculated my point totals and I have a 70 so far (not including the interview). I really hope I get in!!! I wish we knew how many people were applying for fall :( As far as living arrangements if we do get in, we really wouldn't have that much time to get a place if we have to take patho in summer right? Solidus, how much time did you have to find a place once accepted to start patho for winter quarter?? I'm soo stressing out!! I applied to Chico and Channel Islands as well, but I have a better shot at getting into Bako!!!

Hi everyone!

I am so glad I found this site. It's nice to know that there are other people on the same boat. I applied for Fall 2010 too. I am getting very nervous. This waiting is killing me. If anyone hears anything from the nursing department, please do keep us all updated.

Hi Starness921,

I just took the TEAS recently and did ok. I wish I did a lot better though. I can't change that now, unless I retake it before the May deadline to submit the teas score to the nursing department. I have calculated my total score and it's only 66, so you're up on me by four points. I really hope we both make it in together.

I finished all my prereqs including pathophysiology. So I am just waiting to hear back from any of the nursing schools. Good news, I hope.

By, the way, what other schools did you apply too? And do you live in the bakersfield area?
