Hi everyone!
Who among you guys are going to apply for the 2017 track? Either Spring or 2017!
What classes are u still doing? Have you guys attended the Health Orientation already? I'm about to attend mine tom! I'm transferring credits from other school, and looking at the degree sheet, I need to take 5 classes more so all the Prereqs and Gen Eds are all done (after the 5 class)
Lets help everyone whose trying to get in and might help each other out on whoever is trying to get in as well!
Good night
Yea me too since I have 223/224 already! But sadly 189 is a requirement to even APPLY for the program.. the director of the nursing dept did tell me (face to face) that IF you have competed 223/224 and 251 than they would CONSIDER substituting 189 for a Chem or patho but you'd have to have the other three complete or youNEED 189 to just apply
WOW! Thank you for sharing this! I'll have to look into some course equivalents or something. I am out of state, so 189 wouldn't really be a realistic option for me ...but I'm just in California so if i had to i guess it wouldn't be impossible. Anywho i hope it's true that if you've taken the 3 other courses along with Chem they might waive it, but i won't hold my breath lol
Hi, I just found out that you don't really need 224 to get into the program! I was wondering if you think it'd be too late to apply for the program? I have taken every class except 224, and I haven't taken the Kaplan yet. Although, I do know that there will be an exam on the 27th. Is it too late to go through the application process?

Applications are due sept 1st i believe. You still have to take the kat test and usually there is a waiting list for it this close to test date, and then you still have to see a health program advisor and attend the limited entry work shop.
The Spring 2017 CSN Nursing requirements are posted at the following link. Appears nothing changed. I called the Advising office and was told it was going to change but the change would have been too drastic so they reverted back to the same requirements. Anyhow, here is the link

eek! So 189 is required? I was totally hoping a general bio course would do!
