Thats what the bio chair person says on my On line classes as well, thats why I was trying to ask you what school your going to.'When i talked to the health advisor, they were like its not gonna be equivalent, but when I talked to the bio chair person he says it will transfer one way or another...

Of course I got scared, its like wasting money and time..

He granted it and my sub waiver also was granted. My courses are 5 weeks each! But it anatomy and then a separate physiology... I think I'm Gona do micro summer semester at csn... Then I'll be done have you taken the Kaplan test yet ?

Not yet, I'm planning to take the classes this coming spring, I just need to file my fafsa so that everything will cover the expense. I did the orientation already, and have an appointment with the advisor so I can bring my form from the fafsa as well.

So you took the 189 bio already? whats the equivalen to that school?

Same here lol, the bio person says that I was worrying too much lol, of course thats time and money. The health Advisor scared me lol... He said just simply take the classes, I think he will do the sub waiver form as well..

Oh I called ahead and brought my sub waiver straight to the nursing dept... And I have previous training and experience so i had biol189 waived...

Ohhh is that why you didnt have to take 189 and just the A&P I,II? and the micro?

What I did with mine was send my course description to the chair of the bio dept. so that I am not wasting time... Csn's classes get filled up easily...

are u trying to get into spring of 2017 or fall?

Spring 2017. Ya I emailed him and after he approved them I called the nursing dept and they said I could submit the sub waiver straight to them . Because my courses are short term I'm gonna wait till i finish the a/p and then schedule my kappa. Test for probably may/ June... Since I hear the science portion is all a/p

Ohh really? I've never heard of anything for Kaplan (on whats included).

Yeah, I have to wait till I file my tax this yeah and wait for my fafsa and then take the classes already.

So are you saying that you you already submitted your waiver to the chair person? Isn't your suppose to submit that thru the registrar and then they will submit that to him?

I know for a fact that waiver will be submitted to the academic officers, Program director as well, and rhe registrar office too.

How long did it took you for all of that chair person to approve the waiver? Like is it more than a month?

No I actually just called the Dept of nursing to ask about the sub waiver and they said don't worry about taking it to the registrar. That if I submitted it directly to the DON she can approve it and then send it to the registrar and who ever else. It'll be faster because they'll see the DON already approved it .

There's not very much out there about the Kaplan exam except that there's really no specific study guide for it.. But it's supposedly basic math. Reading writing/grammar, and science which is all a/p about 75 questions total

Ohh thanks for the heads up! I'll take my classes and then send it straight to the D.O.N like you said its faster that way. No one told me about that, but I'll thay step as well then take it to the Chair of the Biol and to the registrar as well.

So you are thing around spring. Lucky for you, I have to wait for my fafsa so I can enroll.
