CSN 2017 ADN program!

Hi everyone!

Who among you guys are going to apply for the 2017 track? Either Spring or 2017!

What classes are u still doing? Have you guys attended the Health Orientation already? I'm about to attend mine tom! I'm transferring credits from other school, and looking at the degree sheet, I need to take 5 classes more so all the Prereqs and Gen Eds are all done (after the 5 class)

Lets help everyone whose trying to get in and might help each other out on whoever is trying to get in as well!

Good night

Good luck! I'm Apollying for spring 17 program... Have u taken the Kaplan exam yet?

Hope_07 did you ever get your sub waiver approved? What were the classes u were substituting? Mine was for a/p 1&2 I took human anatomy and then human physiology as separate courses...

Hi! Have you guys taken the kaplan admission test at all? I'm about to schedule mine for next month and I'm super scared because I've been reading that the science and reading part are difficult :\

In scheduling mine for May... I was recently told though for the spring 2016 semester we have to take the Kaplan and teas???

Oh wow.. Who did you hear it from? I just met with my adviser last friday and he just said i have to go to the limited entry workshop and schedule the kat for next month, so i can retake it in case i dont like my score but that's about it.

No my advisor meeting is tomorrow. A friend had her meeting a few weeks ago... But I also looked at the spring 2017 program sheet and it was changed to so teas and Kat.... Makes me nervous! Because there's not much study material for the Kat! If I can still take the teas that's what I'm hoping for!!

Oh wow that makes me ever more scared if thats the case í ½í¸°í ½í¸°í ½í¸° i thought it was for other people who took the teas but dang im hoping we dont have to take both. And yeah i know, i bought a kaplan nursing exam book but from what i've read online, they say it doesnt help with science lol. Do you know how many points usually gets you in the program? My science classes expire at the end of this year so i really have to pass lol

I'll know more tomorrow! But I know in the past you if to have in the high 20-30 range but from what my friend said after her meeting a lot of people are going into the PT program so the last semester the rn program was letting ppl in with liek15 points!

Wow! Crossing my fingers for us both!!!! Im at 35 points right now. I am super anxious about the kat though. Just wanna get it over with already haha. Lemme know how your appointment goes! :)

It's at 1030 tomorrow at the Cheyenne campus! I'm near the Henderson campus but that was the first available appt.... I'm finishing up physiology right now and still need micro ... So if I can get in without micro and do it next summer at nsc I'm ready!!

Nice!! At least it will still all be fresh in your mind :)

If you applied for Spring 2016 you needed to take the KAT and the TEAS. If you are applying for Fall 2016 or Spring 2017 you are allowed to take the KAT or the TEAS. This is the first year CSN is doing Kaplan so I think they are still trying to feel things out.

As far as once you are in nursing school...all your level tests each semester will be Kaplan.
