CRNE 7th october

Published

Hello,

I'm new to this site but am finding it really useful! I'm canadian but did my nursing degree in the UK, and I currently practicing in England. I'm due to sit the CRNE on the 7th October and have read some scary posts on its level of difficulty. I have the study guides and will continue to study for the next 8 weeks until I fly over to toronto to sit it. I'm extremely nervous....anybody got any further pointers for me????

I can't wait for my family to start our life in Canada pending me passing this exam (so no pressure Eh!)......and a new job in toronto would be great!!!!!

Good luck to all of those that are sitting it the same day as me!:nurse:

I walked out of the examination venue after the exam without having any feeling or idea as to how I did in the test. some questions are really weird. the only questions that I am sure I got right were the drug calculations and the Arterial blood gas interpretation questions. I felt numb after the test. well, I hope they send the results sooner than expected. Its hard when you're anxious about something that you have no control about anymore. I even peeked at some topics in my textbook when I got home and it just made my anxiety even worst! I wanna know the results now. so that I can move on with my life. whatever it is...

Goodluck to all of us who took the test!

I hope everyone pass! :heartbeat:redbeathe:heartbeat

yeah right! when I try to eliminate choices, I always end up with 2 choices that seems equally right. I cant wait for this entire thing to be over! well I hope it will be over... and not having to do everything all over again.

I can really sense that the exam was difficult because most of the examinees passed their answer sheets and booklets after 3 hours

I finished both of my books 15 minutes before time is up!

I even thought that 3.5 hours is not enough! there are lots of information and story telling that we need to read only to find out that the question at the end is not even relevant to the story provided. arghhh!!!

I cant believe that the girl sitting in front of me finished each book in 1.5 hours! that's amazing!

Phew...Glad that over!!!!

now the long wait for the results!!!

I felt the same guys. I felt numb and mentally drained after the exam. I was also sure of my answers with the computations and ABG's. The girl next to me was so quick. She finished her exam in like less than 2 hrs!

I hope we'll get the result soon. 6 weeks is such a long time to wait :(

I wouldn't worry about how quickly others finish their exam....just because somebody completes the paper in 1.5hr....doesn't mean they have the right answers.

good luck for results!!!!:yeah:

As I check and look back at my answers now, the more I get frustrated with my wrong answers.:banghead: It was indeed tricky, the way they worded it was reallya factor ....oh well, lets wait and see.:coollook:

Why torture yourself over looking up answers now????

there is nothing you can do to change the outcome of the exam....just chill and wait for your results...there is no good that can come of making yourself ill...by thinking what answer did i put for that etc....enjoy the next 6 weeks of not studying....and maybe having some time to do something you enjoy!!!!!!

Put the text books down.......!:yeah:

I wish I could. Whenever I have some free time I feel like: wow, I'm so lazy, how come I'm not studying for CRNE!!!! then I remember that the test was on Wednesday and it all went downhill, at least I make fun of myself:clown:
