Hi guys!

To all of you who took the CRNE last February 5, 2014, do you have any idea how many weeks should we wait for the results?

what could be the passing score? The exam was not an ordinary exam. I mean most of the cases are new (not the common dx of arf,crf,copd,mi etc). Also, the situations are not like for new Rn graduate.. I think you should have experience working in a hospital setting or special units because some of the questions are more of the routines in a hospital..not for nursing knowledge, anyways, good luck to all of us! In God, we trust!

kinmont123, the path you've taken is probably the most sensible. You haven't burnt any boats and are still working, which will actually help in finding work in Canada. I'm sure that when you began this journey, opportunities for IENs were much more plentiful, but as we've all seen, the process takes so long and things in health care change so rapidly that now you're struggling for that first job. Health care budgets are continually in flux, never extending past the current budget year so it's hard to predict what will happen next. I work in a huge program that grows by about 12% per year. We need more space and have the money (at least on paper) to expand the program, expand our space and expand our capacity. The whole expansion plan covers a period of 5 years. What I see happening is that long before any of it reaches completion there will be a change of government and the remainder of the funding will be yanked away. So we'll have a wonderful new space but no nursing staff to run it. Such is the instability we're seeing.

Congratulations on your successful run at the CRNE. I think the reason we haven't heard from any other NS candidates has more to do with Canada Post and less to do with CRNNS. When it takes 3 days for a letter to travel across town, while a letter to another country with a more efficient mail system arrives in the same amount of time, it's pretty obvious where the problem lies.

hi there..no list on my account yet. The last time I called them (last Tuesday), they said that they have not received the package yet of our results. Then, they updated the crnbc fb page yesterday that they are going to mail the results on March 17 at least the latest. They also informed me via phone that it will took them few days to prepare the letters..so yeah maybe the last day of their calendar to finish it all is on March 17..please let us update here any details we can gather. Thank you.

Hi everyone..I received an email just today March 10, 2014 at 8am..the email is from Nursing examinations..In themail it says that all feb 5, 2014 CRNE results were sent to Canada Post at the end of the day on Friday March 7, 2014. It also gave a contact person and number that if results are not received by Monday March 24th you can contact the given name and number.. Also states that if your results are successful, go to the link for initial RN registration application which will only be avai8lable until March 13, 2014 Thursday..Did everybody received the same email today?thanks..I am nervous..God bless us all.. and good luck to all of us…Have a nice week ahead..God bless

okay..so Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Nova Scotia's results are now mailed out. 3 big provinces are BC,AB and ON. geesh..
