hi ann2008

i am sorry to hear this but this is not end of life...Renducalvin is right ...first give sometime to yourself ,,but do not forget to submit the application to rewrite if you are planning for Feb 2009 as yesterday was deadline to make it.

What i did was..proceeded with positive attitude,lot of preparation,&above all prayed God to lead me to right direction.I reviewed notes from my School,then did CRNE prep guide atlest 4 times at different intervals..tried to relate to the rationals,did online readiness test...&i attended 2 months prep course whic was very helpful..as their i learnt how to eliminate incorrect responses,how one word can change your answer.So overall i practised more than 3000 questions...though questions in real CRNE were different from all te above...but by practicing i was able to reach to conclusion...i you want any information please let me know(feel free to contact via email)GOD BLESS YOU!!!

Yeahhhh i passed!!!!!! Thank God!!! The anxiety and palpitations are over! Congrats to everyone who passed, good luck to people still waiting...

To people who failed, I'm sorry but good luck for next time. Definitely remember to submit your forms to do the forms to redo the exam in Feb but also take a few days to do what you need to do to mourn and accept it...call up a few good friends, have a night out on the town, throw something....erm...u get my drift, but whatever works. But again good luck!

I found it really helpful to go through the Prep Guide, The online CRNBC Prep questions and some NCLEX guides that dealt with going through MCQ's.

You were so close!! Maybe you could go to a prep class before the nest exam, you will also know where your weakness was, although I tihnk you just had bad luck didn't you? You're not the only one so I guess it's grit your teeth & study again for next time!!

Hi...to those who need advice for the next exam I would recommend taking a prep course. The course that I took was called PASS RN offered at George Brown College. The two day workshop is only offered in the spring...However, they have a one day tutorial class for $75. In this tutorial, they focus on the type of questions that are on the exam and how to choose the right one. It it focused on study tips which I thought were very helpful. They also provide handouts on these study tips as well as other things to focus on. I think the next tutorial is December 10. For more info...the site is www.passnurse.com I also thought Mosby's Prep Guide for Canadian RN Exam was helpful. This prep guide has ALOT of multiple choice questions that are broken down into three practice exams. They also provide rationales for each answer. I hope this helps... Goodluck

it was my 2nd time writing and i passed. i took this pass nurse workshop in sept i believe...and trust me when i say this...it did not help!!! you know why?? the authors of the book "mosby's prep guide for the canadian RN exam" just used whatever they wrote in the book and photocopied it and just gave it out as handout! they discussed nothing different! who ever is considering taking this prep course..dont..just go out and buy the book..i found that to be more helpful because the questions in the book are actually useful and are more community/psychosocial based!! this workshop was truly disappointing!!! oh and don't use the orange mosby prep guide...you know why?!?!? the authors who conduct the workshop..tell you during the workshop to not use the book to study for CRNE!!!! I wanted to tell them to give me my money back...because thats what every george brown/ryerson professor have been suggesting to study from!!! yikeesss.....hope this helps

YAY!!!!

:up::up::up::yeah: :nurse:

Nice to have someone to send out into the cold...:rolleyes:

So which book did they suggest you use?

Glory to God... I got my result today and I passed!!!

I'm very sorry for those who didn't make it. I can imagine what you guys are going thruogh becaue this was my second attempt. In addition to the CRNE Prep Guide I also used the Mosby's Comprehensive review, I went over my weak areas in the book and did the questions following including the comprehensive tests in the book. I also did the questions on the CD about twice(lots of questions on the CD). I studied chapters 2 and 3 very well (Professional practice and Health and Wellness). I love the book because every chapter has practice questions. I found the rationales very helpful because they will help you understand how to answer CRNE type questions. I also did a bit of KAPLAN Nclex questions too.

Good luck to you all that will retake the exam, but please don't loose confidence it goes a long way. Believe you will make it and you sure will. As you study, Keep praying, God will take care of you.

got my results today... i passed :lol2::lol2::lol2:

congratulations to all who passed and good luck to those still waiting for results...

how long after we send the registration forms and fees can we get our license /registration number?? my temp permit will expire on december 6 and i'm hoping to get my license so i won't have to renew the temp permit...
