NCLEX-RN exam 2004/2005 editionAnd on the spine it has kaplan on it...I guess that's the publisher.
But don't get too caught up trying to find that particular edition if you cant find it. The earlier editions from 2001 onwards have pretty much the same information in it.
Thank You soo much...I will definately take a try to find this book. This is my last chance therefore I am really terrified and scared and its a lot of pressure. Thank you.
hello I got the 2nd it was a hand down from a nurse, 3rd ed was at the library n the 4th is the one now. For each question just read slowly n carefully to see exaclty what the question is asking n with each option given fit it back into the question to see it makes sense. I did that through the entire exam which took me right up to the last minute of the exam n it work
Good luck
I had to wait until today to open up my result since I was away from home, and it was nerve breaking to open the envelope. It was my 2nd time writing the exam and I passed this time. Such a relief.....
On the second time, I focused on studying and really knowing the stuff on mosby comprehensive book. It helped me a lot for the first book. Second book was more of..community and inter-relationship..and I think focusing on CRNE prep guide rationale helped..
It's the "Mosby's Canadian Comprehensive Review Of Nursing". Though the CRNE Prep guide does not have a lot of practice questions, I went through the book about 4 times concentrating more on the rationales, even on the questions I got right. I also did the online test and reviewed their rationales over and over. These 2 materials from CNA will give you the basic principles of community nursing that will help you answer more questions of the like.
In addition, I downloaded the Code of Ethics for RN and also the whole "Compendium of Standard of Practice for Nurses" from the CNO website. Thorough study of these 2 materials would be very helpful because they touch on the basic things that we some times over look and most importantly of the practice of nursing in Canada.
Take your time, get your confidence back, get rid of fear and believe that you can make it. As you study hard, pray hard, God will help you.
Good Luck
Hi, First off Congratulations for passing the CRNE! You must be really proud and you should be. I just wanted to ask you about the Mosby Comprehensive Review whats the entire title, I looked online and I found one for NCLEX is that the one you used? The other question I have is do you know anywhere I can get community questions?? This is my last chance with this exam and it would be very helpful if I can get any kind of help thank you.

Thanks for ur advice, do you think we should read the whole book or it's enough to read only questions on the book"Mosby's Canadian Comprehensive Review Of Nursing".thanks
honestly guys i went to the workshop held my janice henty and jonathan bradshaw...the authors for the mosby's canadian comprehensive review of nursing..and they said NOT TO USE this book to review for the exam...its not good enough because it is too detailed and there is too much patho!! if the authors are telling you not to use it...think about it..why would you? i used that book the first time i wrote the exam and felt overwhelmed and i failed! there was too much information to focus on!
my advice..stick to the mosby's prep guide for the canadian rn exam..this book is also by janice henty and jonathan bradshaw but its pure psychosocial questions..and i found it to be more helpful! i mean if you want to use the other book..use it but dont completely depend on it..there is way too much info in that book..that you dont need for the exam!
Thanks for ur advice, do you think we should read the whole book or it's enough to read only questions on the book"Mosby's Canadian Comprehensive Review Of Nursing".thanks
I didn't read the whole book, I agree with Clark99, there is too much info. All I read was the 1st -3 chapters about proffesional practice and Health and Wellness. Then I did the Comprehensive tests in the back and the tests on the CD.
For those who failed, please don't give up guys.. I myself failed on my first attempt. Just strive hard and concentrate more on your weakpoints. My advise, start reading now. okay?

There's a prep course in toronto. i forgot the name of the school.
Thanks & God bless to all of you!
