CRNA University of Miami starting January 2019

Hello everyone,

I have started the application process for the BSN to DNP Anesthesia Track program at University of Miami that will start January 2019. It would be nice to know who else is applying to compare information, help one another, and start getting to know our classmates. Feel free to comment! :)

hey yall! I havent gotten that e mail yet but i called and they said as long as your app in nursing CAS is submitted and it says "verified" we are good to go! I applied later than yall and submitted everything so sounds like yall are the first! :)

This was unexpected, I applied to Barry's program and just didn't pay any mind to it. I didn't expect to be invited to interview . I was invited. Very surprised....

Thanks NurseRJ, I really dont know what to think about it . I have been told Barry's prgram is very hard with no slack space if you make a mistake. I also checked and their attrition rate is 12% of the class. That's a lot of broken dreams. But I do know you do learn a lot there and their graduates are coveted. They concentrate more on the hard science of Anesthesia. Well lets see atleast, I have a second possibility. I should be done with my UM App in the next 2 weeks. Just waiting for last transcript to come in. I have everything else in already.

Yes I agree, Barry is tougher in some areas then others. A co-worker of mine went there and she got through the program and passed the boards with no problems. All in all the road is going to be hard no matter where you get in.

Hello Daisywinter, welcome! I have to retake stats but I am waiting to see if I get in before I spend money on that.
