Hello everyone,
I have started the application process for the BSN to DNP Anesthesia Track program at University of Miami that will start January 2019. It would be nice to know who else is applying to compare information, help one another, and start getting to know our classmates. Feel free to comment! :)
Hi to all my fellow CRNA hopefuls!!! I submitted my application Dec . 2nd , I just called UM two days ago to ask if they had started the interviewing process and they said they are getting their applicants lined up and then will start calling for interviews!! So nervous and excited, fingers crossed for all of us. I took my CCRN back in September . I have been an ICU RN for 1 year and 5 months, applied to the program because UM told me as long as I have two years of experience by the start of the program. So I'm hopeful but let's lets see! Wishing you all the best and hopefully we will meet in the near future! If anyone needs help with CCRN feel free to ask me!

Thank you Raquel! I was going to call them this Monday since I haven't heard anything yet. You submitted Dec 2? I thought I was ahead of the game! I finished my application including verification of transcripts and LORs by Jan 5th. You are way ahead of the game! I hope we will be future classmates!
Hello! I have been going over my Drips, mechanism of action, specifically vasopressors and the receptors they act on. Also ventilator settings and thinking about specific patients I can speak about in case they ask. Hope this helps :)!
Thanks Raquel! I am doing the same in addition trying to find some interview questions that they might ask and practice my answers.

That's awesome! Great to hear! I hope we hear something soon... the wait is terrible! I inquired a couple weeks ago and was just told that they begin interviewing at the beginning of the year. Nice to have somewhat of a timeline to go by.
