CRNA University of Miami starting January 2019

Published

Hello everyone,

I have started the application process for the BSN to DNP Anesthesia Track program at University of Miami that will start January 2019. It would be nice to know who else is applying to compare information, help one another, and start getting to know our classmates. Feel free to comment! :)

Hello! I have applied to the 2019 CRNA program. Not sure how long they take to get back with you for a possible interview. Hope to get an interview soon though!

Yes! That would be so amazing. Waiting is the worst part. I haven't submitted my application yet, getting some of the requirements done. I wish you the best!!

Hello JKRenee,

That's great to hear! Transcript verification takes forever! Just FYI. I had all my things together by the 2nd week of December however, they just verified all my transcripts yesterday making it a complete application. Just wondering, has anyone taken any extra classes in preparation for Miami crna school? Like org chem or physics etc? Happy New Year Everyone!

Hey guys !! I'm glad I stumbled on this forum . I'm planning to apply for 2019 too !! Taking the CCRN by end of feb and then applying. Can you guys tell me if they look at CCRN in the application . I don't have a great GPA and I'm trained internationally so I took up A&P1 and now starting gen chem next week .. I guess you need to take the statistics class only after you are accepted..

Hello aspiringcrna, yes I am from tampa! Sounds like you will be prepared! I definitely recommend having the CCRN. I not sure but I think it might be a recommendation from the school itself as well. I have not applied anywhere else yet. I am looking at other schools and will be applying to those when the application opens.

Yea seems like the way it goes. One school might like you and another may think otherwise. So increasing your odds is the best way to guarantee getting in somewhere.
