Hello everyone,

I have started the application process for the BSN to DNP Anesthesia Track program at University of Miami that will start January 2019. It would be nice to know who else is applying to compare information, help one another, and start getting to know our classmates. Feel free to comment! :)

Hi Guys, I finally submitted my application to UM today. Now the waiting game begins. Lets see what happens. Good luck to all of you.

hi everyone! I submitted my application Jan 13, and recently called the SONHS to ask about interviews and the application process. They said that if your NursingCAS application has a :verified" title, it means they have received all your info, and are able to review your application. They also said they would be calling people in order in which the applications were submitted. Haven't heard from them for an interview yet! Took my CCRN March 2017, and have ALMOST two years experience in a Surgical ICU. Currently living in Miami. How about you guys?

Thanks for the info SRNA in the making!!!

And I am from Texas and will have 3 years Medicine ICU experience by the time we start. CCRN and TNCC too!!! I wish us all the best of luck! I have a 3.5 nursing GPA in nursing CAS too! YAY!

Hello! I just submitted my application! waiting for a phone call. Who else needs to retake statistics and chemistry this year?

I have to retake statistics but I'm waiting first to see if I get accepted. A friend of mine that recently graduated from their program said they allowed her to take statistics after being accepted. She did it online through the University of Phoenix.

A friend of mine took statistics through the University of Phoenix and they accepted it.

do you know how many people will get selected for the interview? and how many they will accept?

They select 30 candidates for the program @ UM per year.
