CRNA application for Barry University May 2020

Applying to Barry University Nurse Anesthesia Program for May 2020 cohort!! My GPA 3.89, ACLS/BLS/CCRN certified, 4 years of medical ICU experience.

Studying to take the GRE in May!

I am so nervous to apply. I am not good at standardized test.

What are other ppl stats? Do you think I'll get an interview.

I applied for the Tampa campus. Hollywood and Orlando campuses are still available is what they told me!

Has anybody else heard anything? I called roughly 7-10 days ago and was told they’re reviewing applications for October and November interviews. So if I don’t hear back soon for October, then to keep an ear out for maybe something in November. My application was verified right around the 1st of September.

I haven’t heard anything either. Nursing cas has taken forever for my stuff and it just got complete yesterday. I’ll have to wait at least another 2 weeks per them for it to be verified. I’m so over it

Is anyone on here accepted to the WPB location or have that as their top pick? Just tryna see who my classmates are! Just an FYI too, if you are applying for WPB, we drive to Hollywood for simulation once a week! Just curious! Also those who received interviews! You will rock it!

My application was submitted Aug 22 with verified transcripts at the time, heard back yesterday with no mention of review in the interim. They told me the next interview date is 10/11 and then the following is 10/25. They had about half the 10/11 slots open when I signed up so I don’t know if they do reviews of potential interviewees every two weeks or so? My application was for Hollywood.

Hopefully by then my stuff will be verified and I may Be eligible then. The wait is stressful.

Hello everyone. I have been reading for a while now. I applied and have an interview on 10/11. I’m hoping for the WPB campus. Any advice on the interview would be greatly appreciated.

WOOHOO!! Good luck!! Just be yourself and answer everything truthfully! They ask great questions! Mine was all personal and things about my unit and what I’ve done! Expect it to last at least 30-40 minutes!! You’ll do great! I really like all of the faculty and they made me very comfortable and excited to start!!! Just know that at WPB we will have to drive to simulation once a week to Hollywood!

FINALLY got my Nursing Cas verified today! Now pray for me as I take CCRN tomorrow!
