Don't lose focus and prioritize your time when it comes to studying. Good Luck :)

I am also taking 16 credits, and staying organized will be key. It is pretty easy to lose track of due dates and exams with that many courses. What I usually do is go through my syllabi and write every assignment and due date in my planner so I can stay on top of everything. Another thing I have done in past semesters is to work ahead whenever possible. Doing so definitely saved my grades when I was out with the flu for a week. You never know when you will get sick or have an unexpected emergency. Being ahead of the game will give you some breathing room. You can do this!

I'm taking 15 this semester with 3 kids! I'd rather get it done quickly then have it take 3 years!

I'm taking 18 credits this semester...last sem of pre reqs! Oh & I have 2 kids :)

Get a planner to manage all your exams, quizzes, homework & reading assignments in one easy-to-read place. It makes a world of difference. I took 17 credits last year to finish my pre-reqs (just started the nursing program on Thursday!). My planner was invaluable in keeping me on track.

I color-coded mine, so it was easy to see, at a glance, what was due and what I needed to work on. First, fill in all your exam dates, then quiz dates, homework due dates, papers, projects, etc. In the spaces in between, fill in and schedule your study time. If you break up your studying into smaller chunks, it makes keeping up with your courses more manageable. Plus, you are better able to retain the info if you study a bit each day.

I color-coded my planner as follows (pick what works for you!): green - exams, orange - quizzes, yellow - homework, blue - papers/projects, pink - study time. That way, I could easily see when I had an exam or quiz coming up (sometimes more than one in a day). I could not have made it through with my GPA intact without that planner!

Best of luck to you! :D
