Two weeks left to polish and shine those skills an Area's of Care...Hope to report a GN status on 01 April!
Good luck to all testing and studying...i know i haven't been as active on these boards this year as i used to be, but I plan on sharing my experience once i'm through!

Tasha...you got this. I have been slightly behind your pace this entire program. Now you're going to CPNE a few months ahead of me. I have confidence in ya! Can't wait to hear your sucess story!!!
Thanks! I disappeared off of here for awhile when i failed LS3, not once but twice...lol...but once i dusted off (and my bruised ego healed) and really put my mind to it I knocked LS3 out back in DEC, FCCA in Jan and got started on CPNE in Feb...just keep doing mnemonics everyday, then labs, and care plans, and then back to mnemonics and AOC's...it's all i can do! =) Really REALLY REALLY trying to stay positive and I am BANNED from saying IF i pass or What IF this happens...I have to keep saying WHEN i pass, and When this happens =) positive thoughts and prayers is all i need right now! =)

The "excited" part isn't weird to those of us who have been just about to go, and then went... I was far more excited than nervous by the time I got to Mansfield!! :)

My application was submitted and accepted Dec 13, I passed FCCA Jan 9th i think, and then I waited for a date. I put a "ready date" of March 1. I am using my husband's GI bill so basically everything was paid for the day i registered, and then my husband got order and we move the last week of May, so I called to find out if I was even going to be given a date before May (didn't want to be packing/moving and testing all in the same month) and they offered me that following weekend, i turned it down it was too soon and she said well would March work? I told her yes and she gave me 30 March. Said something about someone had just cancelled and she had a spot open so I took it. they are a very military friendly school so that may have had something to do with, however, a friend of mine applied 3 wks after me and recieved the SAME test site for 5 wks after mine, so i do believe the test date I was given would have been close to or within a couple weeks of any other offered date.
guess i should have said i found out my date the first week of feb

Tasha I am so happy for you. It seems that we were on this journey together. I have followed your posts and cheered you on. I failed my first time at the CPNE, so my best pieces of advice is know your labs, be able to do them in your sleep. If you are having trouble with that wound at home, then you will have trouble at the CPNE, know your mnemonics like the back of your hand. They will cue you if you forget a part of your assessment and always advocate for yourself. I saw decisions overturned because the ce were mistaken, wrong, or not informed. Just breathe you can do this.
