Hi I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with the agency "continental travel nurse"? I recently applied to them and received a call back and was wondering if anyone knows anything about this agency? Good or bad?
Thanks
I am looking into doing travel nursing in England - either Brighton or London. I have 1.5 years of emergency department experience. I heard a long time ago that they do not accept associate trained nurses or nurses that got their associates and then obtained their BSN online. Has anyone run into problems with this? Also, what is the first step to start this lengthy process!

I Would suggest starting with the NMC website and checking out registration to a nurse that trained outside the EU. These days each application is done by case to case and a lot will depend on what clinical and theory hours you have showing on your transcripts
hi gen88, how about if you ask CTN directly regarding your concern :)? They are very approachable through facebook. And perhaps you can share with us what you would hear from them :)
Hey- I've already done that! But would prefer to hear from someone who is actively practising on the ground :)
hello, i've just started the process of applying for a UK nursing registration with continental travel nurse, two weeks ago i sat the ielts exam which was a lot more difficult than i thought and was not well on the exam day. i scored band 7 in all areas except reading which i got a band six, so over all that's a fail. I have been trying to contact the agency after i got my result but havn't heard from them. i was just wondering if there was a second chance for anyone who fails any of the exams, or is it a one strike and your out sort of scenario? i don't mind re sitting ielts, but i wanted to hear back from them before i do so it's not all just a waste of time and money. i'm really set on going to work in the UK and have been wanting this for ages, i just really hope that they havn't decided to drop my application because i failed one of the exams. If anyone has any advice i would appreciate it. Thank you :)
Hi.. i think you can take the regular academic ielts but you have to get a minimum score of 7 on your reading test, and then you can combine the ukvi acad and regular ielts acad.. You can visit this website, ninerreview.blogspot.com or the ielts test centers for further info.
Updates from any of you that have started working in the UK? I am considering starting the process, but I want to be able to talk to people who have gone through with it and are now working there. Feel free to contact me directly.. You can contact me on here, or DM me on Instagram: Erindipitous
Hello fellow CTN RNs who are recently hired. Were you already assigned with your respective nurse managers?
Hi!
I was wondering if you started working at CTN? I'd like to know the experience. I want to know if it is true that you are being tossed around which means you will not be an NHS employee?

Hey CTN'ers- anyone actively working for them at the moment? What's it like working bank when all this political stuff/nursing cuts etc is going on? I heard the govt may be possibly doing away with agency/bank fees if you've heard anything? I'm in regular contact with CTN and have been for > year but getting worried about the state of the NHS at the moment!
