  1. you would need 1 reference form from your present employer, and 1 from the previous hospital you worked with. it is perfectly fine if your HD supervisor wrote the date he/she has overseen you (not the date your work as a nurse in that institution commenced), because if you read the form carefully, it's asking for the date that that referee actually supervised you.
  2. hello fellow nurses, i will be taking OSCE on July, and like a normal human being, I'm very nervous, mainly because I have no idea of what topics/skills to focus on. any advice?
  3. Hi, How did your OSCE go?
  4. Hi Mayney08! I am under CTN too and was told that Guys and Thomas' Hospital is currently not recruiting tier 2 employees. It will not be until late June (at most) that they will be able to find us a new hospital assignment. I had my medical done last month (March) and it really is frustrating to wait a bit longer than I expected.
  5. Well, it mostly depends on how fast YOU complete the forms needed by NMC, and how efficient the Council itself would be in assessing your application.
  6. Hi. anyone here working with Continental Travelnurse through IPAMS?
  7. they paid for my application fees though. and they will reimburse your ielts ukvi and cbt.
  8. Wow that's less than a month for the DL. I hope I'll have mine soon too! Aside from all these waiting games and endless paperwork, I'm worried about the OSCE. I have no idea how to go about it. Is your employer going to provide training/review for that? The barcoded forms (except the one coming from the PRC) I submitted were reflected on my portal when I checked yesterday, but when I signed in again earlier, they were no longer listed on my account. Should I be worried about this or it's just technical glitch?
  9. thank you Alecxmab! have you received your DL already?
  10. Hello Tinie! NMC requires such because in the UK, people may assume the role of a "volunteer nurse" and "trainee nurse" without having been registered (i.e. have not passed the certification/board exam yet) . Contrary to the practice here in the Philippines, only RNs may assume the role of a volunteer and/or trainee nurse.
  11. Hello fellow nurses! I am new to this site. haha Anyway, as per FedEx tracker, all my NMC forms were delivered this 22 Jan. It has been 5 days but I have not been notified if my documents have been received by the NMC. I have also checked my portal, but to no avail. This really worries me a lot. Anyone having the same issue? Also, anyone here with CTN?
