I really did many research about H1B. However, the agency told me that I can try H1B because I have ICU experience and bachelor degree. And, this kind of H1B is not in the H1B-cap on April. As long as non-profit hospital would like to sponsor me, I can have it. However, the research didn't tell me regarding non-profit hospitals and not in the H1B-cap. Moreover, it said it is not easy to have H1B for nurses. I read this:

The criteria is very high. That is why I would like to ask you guys to figure all out. Thank you.

I am an international RN with a BSN + 3 years exp critical care.
I passed the NCLEX for CA Board today and i am currently in the states on visitor visa.
What should i do to get H1B?
HOw can i find sponsor?
DO i need to do visa screen on CGFNS website?
Can i go back to my home country and continue the process from there i found myself squeezed by the time?

The NCLEX is a national test so you results are good for all 50 states. California has been hit hard by the recession with one of the highest unemployment numbers. Are you certified in critical care? Otherwise it would be difficult for a hospital to state you are a specialist. Also California nurses are unionized, they will question why an IEN is hired over a US nurse.
You will need a SSN to get a license. Yes you can go home and continue to process. You are aware the H1b is limited and is not a immigrant visa only allows you to work for several years.
Thanks AlexK, Silverdragon, and ghillbert for your replies...
You know my parents are permanent resident in CA since last year, they need me badly (emotionally and financially)...
that is why i am searching for quick way to be able to work legally here...
What about H1C visa? how can i work on that?
Please help me if you know any potential employer or suggest hospital names ...
Thanks
I feel for you, why did they apply to come to the USA if they can't support themselves ? I know that is off topic, thing is that the US is in a recession right now and a hospital is not going to sponsor a nurse now when they have their pick of nurses.
Things may change in the future.Try an obtain the Critical Care Certification, that may make you more desirable since the employer will not have to do an extensive ICU training.
Or have your parents move back to your home country so I wish I could give you a better answer. I would also consult with an immigration lawyer who can assist you. Good luck it sounds like you have a bad situation.

I guess quite a few people with H1B chose this path, because of the long wait for a GC. What is ok.
But if it should be discovered that you got this H1B fraudulent, you got a problem.
