Concordia University Irvine ABSN Summer 2021

This will be the thread to discuss the application and interview process for CUI's ABSN program beginning Summer 2021.

Judging by the thread from last year, interview invitations go out in late February, with acceptances being announced at the end of March. There appears to have been a group interview as well as a timed essay component.

Looking forward to hearing from this year's Applicant pool!

Hey guys! When submitting the $300 deposit, is the email confirmation (that we are suppose to forward to the ABSN Admission Office) just the receipt of the transaction, or it is another email that will come after?

I received an email on April 6 that the deposit had been received and to wait for the Eagles email. I never send the confirmation email because I thought we had to wait for the email from IT then send it!

Hi,

Not sure how active this thread is, but I just want to say as a current student, that this program is not worth it. The faculty does not care about its students and all they care about is money. If you get accepted elsewhere I would suggest you go there because many of my classmates regret choosing this program.

Does anyone know if the waitlisted pool goes by order and the admissions counselors will contact one at a time, or just collectivley send out offers later next week? I wonder if they started sending some out already?

Anxiously waiting and checking my emails every day... :(

It sounds to me like you got waitlisted and you’re trying to get one of us to reject our offer...nice try.

I debated if I want to attach a screenshot of my acceptance email but if people don't want to believe me, that's fine. I put out my warning to help people with their decision. Good luck to everyone who ends up going here. You're gonna need it.

Hello! I was waiting on CSUF response, and I found out I was waitlisted :( , so I think I am going to CUI officially. I am also waiting on CSUN, but that seems like a long shot. Is there any current students on this thread doing the ABSN program. I feel a little nervous about this school because I don’t know anyone that has gone through it. I might just need a pep talk about the program, hoping I am making the right decision.
