This will be the thread to discuss the application and interview process for CUI's ABSN program beginning Summer 2021.

Judging by the thread from last year, interview invitations go out in late February, with acceptances being announced at the end of March. There appears to have been a group interview as well as a timed essay component.

Looking forward to hearing from this year's Applicant pool!

I got waitlisted, and this is my only program.. So really trying to not give up or be too discouraged. Congrats on all those who got accepted, proud of you all! Wishing everyone else the best, and for those who are waitlisted like I am, let's not give up yet!

Omgsh Mia! This is Tricia, I was in the same group interview as you! I got accepted as well! Are you going to go forward with CUI or is USF your top choice? It would be so nice to be in the same cohort with a familiar face!

ahhh I’m in the exact same boat! I’m trying to remain optimistic and that everything will fall into place, it’s not over yet!! I’m so happy for everyone that got in here and other programs of your choice! congrats; we all all worked so hard ?

Yes, I totally agree I am remaining optimistic as well! I was placed on the waitlist too. I read last years thread and it looks like they indicated that they are not at liberty to disclose our placement/rank on the waitlist. Relying on faith and hope! Best of luck to us all!

I received an acceptance but will be dropping. Hopefully that gives a waitlisted person a spot! Good luck to you all ?
