Hello,

I am a december grad!!!!!! I am nopt sure when I will be able to take the NCLEX, but I am anticipating it being febuary or march. I know there are more of us out there so I figured I would start a thread for us. i noticed the nov. dec, jan, threads seem so supporyive and helpful.

I am planning on taking a review course with the state board of nursing, kaplan, and doing questions. I havnt decided if I will work as a GN while I am studying or not. so... what is everyone else doing???

platanos - I'm just adding my support.

You are not alone.

Chin up! You fell off the bicycle, but get back up and go for it!

OMG! I take my test tomorrow good ol Valentines Day! I dont know if I should feel worried cause I am not that freaked out yet. I have literally been doing questions for like 12 hours a day and now I am feeling comfortable. I graduated 8 months ago and I think the biggest fear is the fear of the unknown. Are the questions like the study questions etc.... From friends I heard that you can almost always narrow down to two answers and when I do practice questions and I absolutely dont know the answer my intuition lol has been good well most of the time. I don't know how to feel tomorrow I know that I will feel really worried but know that I need to maintain my composure.

Hey there/.... Well as you might have read I graudated 8 months ago all of my fellow classmates have moved on to pursue their nursing career while I am still waitressing tables. They even come in and eat and I feel as little as a mouse. Anyways I have a lot of faith in God and know that this is my time. I have made a lot of sacrifices in order to sucessfully complete nursing school and went through a lot of hell with a hater of a teacher if only you knew... Anyways even when I was beat to where I could be beaten no more an angel always seem to come through to reassure me that this is the path I was to be on. Platanos dust of your pants, pull up your sleeves and get your hands dirty... You are not giving up... Nursing school was hell 101 and if you got throught that you can get through this..

Hi. New here. Just took my NCLEX-RN this morning in San Diego. Since I know I'll have to wait 2-4 weeks for results, I'll ask a question. I shut off at 75. Test seemed hard. There were some easier questions, but it was just a tough test. I noticed that some of the questions were bolded, and used word like "most appropriate, inital, priority"... are these the questions that I want to see? I had about 7-9 of those and about 3-4 of the "select all that apply". Anyone wanna give me an assessment of my test?

Very hard to give an assessment as the test is so individual. Priority plays a lot in the test

Good luck

Oh man!! I can't imagine how people deal with this pressure for so long

Platanos, I have so much respect for you bro. I don't know if anything that we have to say will change how you are feeling right now but please don't let this defeat you. Take your mind elseware, even if it's for a few days. Dwelling on this will only make it worse. Find an escape or release of somesort.

I just got back from taking my test as well. It shut off at 91, and ofcourse I have no clue how I did. I'm on edge as well. BUT, I know that if I don't pass...well...I don't pass. Thats it. I'll rest, recover, recouperate and get back in there and try again. You didn't come this far to stop. So please don't shut down :twocents:

by the way, Happy Valentine's Day everbody!!

I just checked the CA BON website...and there I am, listed as a NURSE! Woo-hoo! I had to wait 3 days for my results to show up, but I'm so happy!

I had to post here first, but now I'm off to call all my family!

Good luck to everyone who's waiting!
