I am a december grad!!!!!! I am nopt sure when I will be able to take the NCLEX, but I am anticipating it being febuary or march. I know there are more of us out there so I figured I would start a thread for us. i noticed the nov. dec, jan, threads seem so supporyive and helpful.
I am planning on taking a review course with the state board of nursing, kaplan, and doing questions. I havnt decided if I will work as a GN while I am studying or not. so... what is everyone else doing???
I test in 21 days. I am so nervous. I really like Saunders format, but have been doing Kaplan questions. I have a hard time remembering the immunization schedule for infants;any tips?
I have a four year old and a two year old and I even had trouble remembering the schedule!:nuke: But when I took the test (though, I know that each of them is different) I had nothing on immunizations. But basically, I would just remember that MMR and varicella aren't given until 12 months, the first Hep B is given before the baby leaves the hospital, and the rest are given at 2 mo, 4 mo, 6 mo, between 12 mo to 18 mo, and 4-6 yrs. Im going nuts:wtosts:.....When I left yesterday, I felt confident that I passed. Now that I've been obsessing over finding out, I feel that my confidence is shook. Waiting sucks:anbd:....I keep checking the SC BON web site and the Pearson site.
I am a January 17, 2008 grad and I took my boards yesterday. I am scared because it cut off at 85 questions. I can pay extra money to get the results today or I can wait another day and the board will post them.
Took mine today and it cut off around 80. Don't know what to think. I had like 5 or 6 SATA, a few math, delegation/priority, teaching, whew! Some things that we never covered in school. I PRAYED & PRAYED & PRAYED!!! And I will continue to pray, lol! Hope to find out that I am an RN on Thursday!
I Know U Are Upset. U Can Do It. I Will Offer To Study With U If U Are A Pn Student. I Just Found Out That I Passed Like 20 Min Ago And I Still Have All My Books. I Will Study With U If Needed.
