Poll for those who have already taken NCLEX..
1. How many questions did you take on NCLEX? [75] 2. What study materials did you use? Did you take a test review course? [NCLEX 3500, QTrainer, Kaplan book 2007-2008. No review course.] 3. Did your SON offer any testing (ERI, ATI, HESI)? [We did a test at the end of the program. I had a 98% prediction to pass. Don't recall the test, but it had like 141 questions, pencil and scan-tron.] 4. How long did you wait for results of the test, or are you still waiting? [in California, so still waiting. A friend has been waiting for almost a month.] 5. What were your thoughts coming out of the test (total disbelief, certainty you had failed, confident you had passed)? [Happy to see it shut off at 75. Happy to see I got about 10-15 of the SATA/Priority/Delegation/Infection Control/Uncommon meds. I don't think I bombed!] 6. Was this your first attempt at NCLEX-RN? [yes]

I Ran Out Of Time On Nclex
Six hours now. But, they bumped up the minimum passing standard a bit also.. don't know when they enacted it though. Took mine nclex-rn today. Took my sweet time. Two hours went by and I'm on question 65. I was a bit overconfident that I would just be taking 75 questions. But then I thought about it. And, I realized that if I have to do 150 or 200 then I'm screwed! Pick up the pace! So I started panicing, and rushing... but I got to 75. Whew! Hopefully I passed!

New here just taken the exam
Thank you kindly! I'm in California, home of the lazy, union-protected state employees, who ain't gonna move any faster than they need to, and who'll "get to it when they can". Just dealing with them on the phone for my IP was horrible. So, this is why I ask.

Come in here if you are taking the boards this week!! Feb 11-15
Hi. New here. Just took my NCLEX-RN this morning in San Diego. Since I know I'll have to wait 2-4 weeks for results, I'll ask a question. I shut off at 75. Test seemed hard. There were some easier questions, but it was just a tough test. I noticed that some of the questions were bolded, and used word like "most appropriate, inital, priority"... are these the questions that I want to see? I had about 7-9 of those and about 3-4 of the "select all that apply". Anyone wanna give me an assessment of my test? Chad

New here just taken the exam
Hello everyone. New here. Just (literally) got home from taking the NCLEX. Shut off at 75. Had some darn hard questions. Had about 10-12 of the SATA/Priority/delegation type questions, and some easier questions thrown in. Had a few questions where I just guessed. I'm hoping I passed, seeing as the difficulty level was up there. Would one know if they were really bombing and it shut off at 75? Chad
