Columbus Tech Summer 2010

Has anyone here applied to the Summer 2010 admission at Columbus Tech? :)

I've learned that they have received 230 applications for admission this year....wow! Good luck to all of us that have applied.

Hi! I think the interview went very well, but I'm trying not to get my hopes up too much. June is still a long time away and I need to concentrate on this quarter! I sent you a private message with more info. :)

I enjoyed A&P1, so I'm not too worried about A&P2, but SCT100 seems like such a waste of time and money. Most people today are pretty computer savvy and I think they should have a test and if you score above a minimum on the test, then the computer class should not have to be taken. Just my 2 cents. :)

Hi Paeonia,

There IS such a test! Check with your instructor. It costs $25.

(There are also tests for Sociology, Psychology and some other required courses>)

Hi Katy,

I'm taking it at WGTC and was told I couldn't test out of it there and then transfer the credit to Columbus. So, I had to take it in order to transfer the credit.

Still waiting.........:)

Well the bright side is that you'll likely get an A and that will help with your overall GPA later. If you test out, you only get a Pass/Fail so you don't get the points to help raise the GPA if those nursing Bs start to creep in!

COUNTING THE DAYS, I had my interview and it went well (I think) different questions than I expected but they made it very comfortable....time is going by fast and at the same time slow if u know what i mean....I will post when I get my letter, not sure if i am going to open it or if i am going to make someone else do it!!!

Yay, I'm so glad that your interview went well! I know exactly what you mean, it seems like it was just yesterday we were stressing over the interview yet it seems like we still have such a long time to wait! June will be here before we know it...hopefully good news! :eek: My hands will probably be shaking when I get the letter...lol. Our quarter at WGTC doesn't end until June 16, a week after CTC's quarter ends, so you will probably get your letter before I will. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for both of us!

I think the waiting is slowly driving me insane.....

I've heard that letters will go out sometime late next week. So I guess that means we won't be receiving them until sometime the following week. Pure torture I tell ya....

congrats!!! yes, I just got my letter and I was accepted also!!! YAY!!!!! so glad we didn't have to wait until next week, it was driving me nuts!
