Columbus Tech Summer 2010

Has anyone here applied to the Summer 2010 admission at Columbus Tech? :)

I've learned that they have received 230 applications for admission this year....wow! Good luck to all of us that have applied.

Congrats to you too!!! I was very surprised to see the letter arrive so soon. I'll see you at orientation on Monday!

ej - did you get a form for the drug screening with your letter? I got the paper saying we needed to do a background check (I've ordered this), and then it goes on to give all these Labcorp sites to do a drug test, but it has on there that we need a form given to us by the school to take with us to the drug test, which wasn't included with the letter. (?) Maybe they will give it to us at orientation?

Hey, you need to go to the health sciences office and get the drug form from ms. dansby and go ahead and go get your drug screen and also do your change of major form (should have came with your letter), it needs to be signed by the different offices and then turned in to the registrars office, you will not need to take it to orientation...I have already completed everything so if you have any more ? just let me know...

Thanks for the info! I didn't realize this was something we could do now, I thought we had to wait for orientation. I'll have to go there tomorrow and see about getting it all done.

I am in also!!! I got my letter last Friday. I was so nervous waiting on the letter but now it is time to get to business LOL

OMG, I just spent 2 hours at Labcorp waiting to pee in a cup for the drug test....2 HOURS!!! I thought my bladder was going to explode.

And, of course, I sipped on water the whole drive down to Columbus so I would be ready....boy was I ready! lol. There was a ton of people when I got there, I guess I picked the wrong time.

Did you all look at the book list for Nur101? There are a lot of books listed on there for that class!

I saw the list, it was like 6 books...but they didn't cost over $100. I guess I'm going to have to get a bookbag on wheels lol

I already got all of my books and for all three classes it was between $300 & $400 can't remember exactly.....Def going to check out the wheeled bags!!!!
