Hi AN fellows!

I know it is super early to start such a thread but I was hopping to connect with potential applicants/classmates for Columbia SON MDE 2018 program!

If you are applying to Columbia SON for summer 2018, let's share our experiences, ideas, thoughts and such!

Does anyone know what the schedule is like for MDE/DNP accelerated? Is the 4th year of the program a residency with capstone based on what everyone is talking about?

I called earlier this week and they said FAFSA deadline is December 15. Maybe for priority but not sure what that means. They said they'll be sending an email soon.

Hello Everyone,

I spoke with Financial Aid a few days ago, they said to make sure FAFSA is filled out, but as far as the scholarship letter they spoke about in the application email they are aware that they wrote about that letter and then didn't send it. They said the letter was incomplete, but it will be sent later on. I hope that eases some nerves while we wait...and wait! Best wishes and happy holidays, Jeffrey

Hey guys, some nursing schools (ABSN/MSN) have asked me to input "Second-Bachelor's degree" and "5th year Undergraduate" when filling out the FAFSA. But I know that Columbia awards a Master's for the first half of the program, not an BSN. For people who encountered this problem, did you just send out two different 2018-2019 FAFSAs?

Disregard the 1st response, I misunderstood the initial question. If it allows you to fill out 2 I would so that you get the correct type of aid.
