Columbia CRNA 2020

Nursing Students SRNA

Hello all,

I wanted to start a thread for any perspective applicants for Columbia's Anesthesia program for 2020. I submitted my application last week and wanted to hear if anyone was called for interviews yet.

My stats: ADN 3.7 BSN 4.0 CCRN, CMC, CRNI, BLS/ACLS instructor, recently promoted to unit clinician. 2.5 years of Cardiac ICU in a large level 1 teaching hospital. (of note: went to school close to 10 years and have poor grades)

I have a surgery scheduled on the 2nd. I hope they let us know today because I don’t know whether to reschedule it or not.

It’s an elective one that I will reschedule in case I need to appear to the interview. I guess we will be living on edge for the next few days. Lol office of Admissions are from mon-fri right?

The person was quoting a comment from last year’s Columbia thread! saying it’s possible that we might get invites over the weekend.

I think that day was on Veterans Day too. It would nice to hear something this weekend. I thought we would hear something today.

No news here as well. I overheard that the program director lives in Maine and flies to NY every Monday. Regardless, this is very short notice for anyone that interviews at the end of this week.

She also teaches on Wednesday’s. But this Wednesday she was at the meeting. A bird also told me ?
