I wanted to start a thread for any perspective applicants for Columbia's Anesthesia program for 2020. I submitted my application last week and wanted to hear if anyone was called for interviews yet.
My stats: ADN 3.7 BSN 4.0 CCRN, CMC, CRNI, BLS/ACLS instructor, recently promoted to unit clinician. 2.5 years of Cardiac ICU in a large level 1 teaching hospital. (of note: went to school close to 10 years and have poor grades)
Yeah...this is getting really tricky. I think it will all work out, but the suspense.....?

It’s an elective one that I will reschedule in case I need to appear to the interview. I guess we will be living on edge for the next few days. Lol office of Admissions are from mon-fri right?
No news here as well. I overheard that the program director lives in Maine and flies to NY every Monday. Regardless, this is very short notice for anyone that interviews at the end of this week.

I have a surgery scheduled on the 2nd. I hope they let us know today because I don’t know whether to reschedule it or not.
