Columbia CRNA 2020

Hello all,

I wanted to start a thread for any perspective applicants for Columbia's Anesthesia program for 2020. I submitted my application last week and wanted to hear if anyone was called for interviews yet.

My stats: ADN 3.7 BSN 4.0 CCRN, CMC, CRNI, BLS/ACLS instructor, recently promoted to unit clinician. 2.5 years of Cardiac ICU in a large level 1 teaching hospital. (of note: went to school close to 10 years and have poor grades)

I just got my interview invitation. The dates available to me were October 3rd and 4th.

Congratulations when did you apply? I think they are doing it buy first come first serve by the dates you applied.

Just got an invite. Only dates were 10/3 and 10/4

Just curious, @RNjackie23 and @go_jets82— where are you both from? I’m curious if they sent out the earlier dates to people on the east coast? I’m in DC

I'm from NY but live/work in NC now! I'm nervous because one of my references submitted her reference stuff on the 18th so after the due date and I never did get an email saying my application was sent to the admissions committee, just that it was received. ?

There was only a morning and afternoon session for Thursday, October 3rd. The only interview time on October 4th was 8am.
