Columbia CRNA 2020

Nursing Students SRNA

Hello all,

I wanted to start a thread for any perspective applicants for Columbia's Anesthesia program for 2020. I submitted my application last week and wanted to hear if anyone was called for interviews yet.

My stats: ADN 3.7 BSN 4.0 CCRN, CMC, CRNI, BLS/ACLS instructor, recently promoted to unit clinician. 2.5 years of Cardiac ICU in a large level 1 teaching hospital. (of note: went to school close to 10 years and have poor grades)

I called admissions. They said they are still reviewing applications. They will send a rejection letter when the time comes.

It appears that they have added a 5th day for interviews — October 31st. There are morning and afternoon slots.

Happy Monday everyone,

Same here, no response yet. Just need to wait little longer. During my open house visit I heard school will be inviting 80 applicants. So we still have a chance.

Guys!! The hope is still alive! I just got an invite at 9:11pm!! They’re definitely still going through applications!!

I was invited to interview. Does anyone know anything about their interview process? What format or kinds of questions they ask?

I was also invited to interview! I'm scheduled for October 31st at 0800 due to my work schedule. I haven't been able to find much info on the interviews except on the 2017 thread, they made it seem that it was mostly personality based.

Hey, I called today and they said they are still going through applications and that they will be still sending out invitations for interviews.
