Columbia CRNA 2020

Hello all,

I wanted to start a thread for any perspective applicants for Columbia's Anesthesia program for 2020. I submitted my application last week and wanted to hear if anyone was called for interviews yet.

My stats: ADN 3.7 BSN 4.0 CCRN, CMC, CRNI, BLS/ACLS instructor, recently promoted to unit clinician. 2.5 years of Cardiac ICU in a large level 1 teaching hospital. (of note: went to school close to 10 years and have poor grades)

Can anyone that interviews early offer any insight to us on the format of the interviews? I know this may be counterintuitive to the very competitive nature of us applicants but any help is appreciated.

@indienurse How did it go?! Can you tell us if the interview was heavy on CCRN topics. I'm literally trying to review everything and losing my mind! lol

I have a feeling they are done calling ppl back. They just telling us they are still reviewing applications because they haven't sent out the denial letters yet.....

I don't understand how their order is in terms of reviewing applications. I have seen people on here who submitted their application on the last day and received an invite on the first day. Yet someone who has submitted it earlier got a later invite...?

They said it depends on who is reviewing your application.
