I wanted to start a thread for any perspective applicants for Columbia's Anesthesia program for 2020. I submitted my application last week and wanted to hear if anyone was called for interviews yet.
My stats: ADN 3.7 BSN 4.0 CCRN, CMC, CRNI, BLS/ACLS instructor, recently promoted to unit clinician. 2.5 years of Cardiac ICU in a large level 1 teaching hospital. (of note: went to school close to 10 years and have poor grades)
It seems like they are doing a few calls a day. Maybe based on who actually decides to go to Columbia vs. other schools. How do members of the facebook group know who is accepted?

There’s no way for members of the FB group to know until an official class list comes out
For those who received a call, have you guys gotten an official email ?
I got a call last Tuesday and still have not received an email. Dr. Massie said we should receive an email with instructions on reserving our seat sometime this week

I got the call as well! So excited! I wasn’t expecting it this morning so I’m in shock still.
