Hi, I am interested in seeing if anyone who applied for Colorado Children's hospital's new grad program has heard back from them? I applied to both campuses and it looks like the application period ends February 9th with interviews between February 14th-18th. (start date of May). I did receive the email right away that they were sending my applications the the recruiters but there has been no update since.
The other thread for the previous cohort contained a lot of rejections even though a few of them had amazing pediatric experience so now I'm a bit nervous lmao.
For Anschutz I requested OR, ER, and NICU For Colorado Springs I requested NICU, Med surg, and PICU
GL to whoever applied!
Quick update if anyone comes across this and is curious: I did get an interview for the ER at Anschutz and an interview for the NICU at Colorado Springs.

Hi Aburnett, I have just applied for the August 2022 cohort (I don't have an interview yet) but I was wondering if you would share any questions from your interview with them. The NICU is my top choice and I am wanting to be as prepared as I possibly can.
Thanks in advance!

I just applied for the August 2022 cohort as well. Have you heard anything back yet?

All floors ask the same general questions. Talk about yourself, why you want to work at children's, etc. They asked for examples about conflict with coworkers and how you resolved it, and how you would do it differently next time. What did you do when you didn't agree with a colleagues decision about a patient? Cultural differences and a time your experienced it. Give an example about a time in nursing school where you had to work on a team project and how it went.

I didn't get the ER position because I lacked pediatric experience whereas the other candidates did have experience. I was offered an interview for their med surge and got the job (-:

Thank you so much for this info, do you think it would be safe to assume that the interviews would be virtual?

Hi! I also applied for the Fall 2022 nurse residency program. Just a few questions if anyone who has gone through the process can talk about their experience. Did you have multiple rounds of interviews for the unit or just one? Is there a written exam or test during the interview (I read they did that in the past)? How quickly after the interview do they contact you after being hired or rejected? And what is the starting salary/is it negotiable? Sorry for all the questions, just really excited and hoping I get a spot in the program! TIA!

I also applied to the fall 2022 nurse residency program! Has anyone been invited to interview yet? Interviews are next week, but I haven't been told I've gotten one. Now I'm starting to worry. The last I heard from them was a request on 4/6 to clarify which unit(s) I wanted to join.
I did the same thing, but have not heard about interviews yet either as well

I have been invited for two unit interviews so far. One said they will be scheduling interviews the week of the the 18th so I think some units may be behind.
I just received an interview for their ED program, if anyone has any helpful tips / questions to be prepared for please feel free to share!
I also got an interview notification on Friday for their Cardiac Progressive Care Unit! No date yet, they just said it would be within the week of the 18th.
