Colorado Childrens Hospital New grad Summer 2022
All floors ask the same general questions. Talk about yourself, why you want to work at children's, etc. They asked for examples about conflict with coworkers and how you resolved it, and how you would do it differently next time. What did you do when you didn't agree with a colleagues decision about a patient? Cultural differences and a time your experienced it. Give an example about a time in nursing school where you had to work on a team project and how it went. I didn't get the ER position because I lacked pediatric experience whereas the other candidates did have experience. I was offered an interview for their med surge and got the job (-:

Jobs that accept New Grads in Denver, Colorado
They're offering $48/hr and this facility lets you bring your phone inside. Those were the first few questions I asked LMAO. I'm a bit sketched out and definitely going to jump ship if it's too outlandish for me. The children's hospital doesn't start until May so I definitely have some time. Thank you for the heads up.

Jobs that accept New Grads in Denver, Colorado
Thank you so much! I ended up getting offered a job at a correctional facility and I have two interviews scheduled for a new grad program at CO's children's hospital. I can't imagine having to wait that long to find out if I passed or failed. This is def the generation of instant gratification. Thank you so much! Colorado Childrens Hospital New grad Summer 2022
Hi, I am interested in seeing if anyone who applied for Colorado Children's hospital's new grad program has heard back from them? I applied to both campuses and it looks like the application period ends February 9th with interviews between February 14th-18th. (start date of May). I did receive the email right away that they were sending my applications the the recruiters but there has been no update since. The other thread for the previous cohort contained a lot of rejections even though a few of them had amazing pediatric experience so now I'm a bit nervous lmao. For Anschutz I requested OR, ER, and NICU For Colorado Springs I requested NICU, Med surg, and PICU GL to whoever applied!

Jobs that accept New Grads in Denver, Colorado
Hello! I am relocating to Denver next month and was wondering if there are any clinics or hospitals that hire new RN graduates outside of new grad programs? I just passed my NCLEX and I have my BSN. Thank you!

Loma Linda Childrens hospital March 2022 cohort
Hi hey, I wanted to start a thread for the new grad program that is starting March 2022. I missed a call from them yesterday (12/20) and they didn't leave a voicemail! I applied to the ER. I don't go to LL for any medical reasons so I called the recruiter and left a voicemail asking if the call came from them LMAO. I'm hoping they call again today. A part of me is worried it was a rejection call, but I've heard from others that they send rejection emails and do not call. Have any of you guys received calls from them? Also, if you don't hear from the director of the floor you applied to, the recruiter had told my class that we should call her and ask if any other unit still has any spots. One of our clinical instructors had set up a zoom call with her for an information session so if anybody has questions for me, feel free to ask. What I know so far: $36/hr and then it gets bumped up to $38 after....6mo? A year? I don't remember. The first few months are 5 days a week, 8 hour shifts. 3 year contract, which is.....a bit concerning. Does anybody know any nurses currently in the program and how they're liking it so far? Thanks! /end

CSUSB Fall 2019 BSN program
I'm extremely positive you'll get in somewhere else with your stats. I think the residency plays a big factor in acceptance/denial. Good luck to you as well!

CSUSB Fall 2019 BSN program
I had my T. orientation done at the Palm Desert campus so the schedule/activities might vary. There's no chance of leaving early until you hit the last portion of registering for classes and grabbing your student ID. They do three check ins throughout the day to ensure you don't leave early. The last check in is picking up your student ID. After the hour and a half welcome speech first thing in the morning, you get divided up into "packs" (by major) and then your pack leaders give you a tour of the campus and you go and listen to different faculty give you information on that building/classroom/program. This goes on until lunch (Subway and gatorade for us) After lunch you meet your faculty advisers. Our pack had nursing, health science, and graphic design students since there aren't a ton of students with those majors at the Palm Desert Campus. All the packs then rejoin to go over how to register for classes, Financial Aid etc. Finally, the packs go into separate classrooms with computers to register for classes. Once you finish registering you take the survey, show the pack leader you finished, and then they give you your ID. While I definitely could have figured all of the information given on my own and kind of already did, I appreciated the effort they put into making sure the transfer students knew what to do to make transferring easy and seamless for students and staff.

I'm a Riverside county resident ? But SB city is the nearest mail hub for my city so that might be why I got mine so quickly even though I live next to the PD campus. Depending on where you live, your letter might be sent a roundabout way to a different city for processing before going on the route to your house. It'll probably come in a few days! It took 10 days for a letter from my boyfriend to arrive even though he only lived 20 miles away. I'm lucky I even got mine! They entered my address wrong on the envelope and it could've been returned as undeliverable ?

CSUSB Fall 2019 BSN program
I honestly reread it word for word about five times to make sure it wasn't the campus telling me again I was accepted into the university as pre-nursing. I've already scheduled my physical so I can get my titers done. I have no idea where any of my immunization records are. ?
