College of Marin Fall 2017

Published

Hi everyone!

This is my first time posting, but I have been on Allnurses for a couple of years now! I really appreciate this community, as you all helped me to get through my prereqs and pass the teas 6.

I have applied to College of Marin's Fall 2017 ADN program, and I'm reaching out to see who else is applying there as well.

In addition to College of Marin, I had to cast a wide net for schools--I also applied to about 9 other schools in and around the area.

I would love to set up a thread so we can keep in contact with each other....I think we start to hear back in April/May.

Good luck to everyone who is applying this round, and I hope you get into your top school!

@cz11

We all got emails and after you accept or deny they will send out paper work for a welcome information packet.

ah i see thanks. :( still waiting.

Is anyone signing up for the University of Phoenix bridge program?

Hello everyone! I have applied to 7 schools and I am number 67 at COM. I just need to get in somewhere. Best of luck to everyone.

I am pretty sure I'm going to do the Phoenix bridge. Though I haven't done a whole lot or research into it vs the Sonoma program. All it needs to be is accredited, right?

Thanks to the people who posted their acceptance into COM nursing program for 2017. If you're a higher number than #48 in the lottery and have been offered acceptance, please let the rest of us in the forum know. It gives those of us still waiting to hear some peace of mind during this stressful lottery business. Thanks!

just heard back an hour ago and got the acceptance email. #50! good luck everyone!

I am number 77, hoping they make it to my number. Does anyone know how high they have made it in the past?

Hey everyone!

I am #69 and am not very hopeful about getting in. Keep us updated on the latest numbers! Hoping some people don't accept/get accepted elsewhere. I am still awaiting to hear back from SRJC as well as NVC.

Regel checking in. See you guys in class!

Congratulations everyone who has gotten in so far!!! As I said in an earlier post, I will be a 2nd year when you start. I am also your acting 1st Year Liaison in the Student Nurse's Association at COM. If you have any questions let me know. I don't know much about where they are in the acceptance process in the administrative office, but I can answer some questions about class schedules, clinicals, Phoenix (I'm in their bridge program), and other general questions. Can't wait to meet all of you this fall!
